help wanted with witting fluff for The Kabal of the Black Pheonix

Hi there everyone. so I am staring to build up my own little Kabal and would y'alls advice and opinions about my archon's (Shivana) fluff

so the archon the Kabal of the Black Phoenix wanted to have the most elegant and exquisite of pets, a craftworld autarch and commissioned a coven to develop a method to scourge away an eldar's physic abilities which they did. then he set out and captured Shivana from one of the more militaristic craft worlds (i am thinking saim-hann) and to her back to his lair and tortured her for about 350 years.

then as the Kabal mustered for a real space raid a young kabalite stumbled into Shivana's cage and accidentally released her. hungry of blood and revenge Shivana killed the kabalite and took her place in the Kabal. and in less than a decade her meteoric rise to power culminated in her launching a coup de tat and seizing the Kabal for herself. 

since then the Kabal has become famed for their flawless mechanized assaults. and uniquely Shivana accepts half-born into the ranks of her elite inner circle, however to enter her elite ranks on must be broken as a slave for only one who has been muzzled, chained and utterly dominated can truly understand and appreciate true power.

so is this even remotely plausible. thank you all for your help. 

someone might do science to your fluff but if they do tell them to F' off, this is a game where we as adults play with plastic army men, ... and yeah at my LGS sometimes we do put an space marine on top of a rhino and "drive" it around the board making truck sounds, because sometimes we need to remember its just a game. also, if steve ward can have necrons and blood angels nod at each other then walk off the battle field you can have this.

on a more English-y related note: i might consider making the length of torture a little longer, we are talking about a sub-race of an alien species that has taught itself to separate themselves from their feelings. unless your includeing a mental recondidtioning to the torture.

now that I have thought about the length of her captivity a bit more does anyone know how old an autarch in her prime would be. I know eldrad is more than 10,000 years old since was a farseer even before the HH. and isint Vect something like 6000 or so. so Shivana would probably be around 3500-4500 in her prime. with that I think I will bump up her torture to 750 years.

your thoughts?

and of course there ain't nobody who can stop me from writing the story of my own Kabal. especially since GW suggests the I do that right there in the codex

Its plausable, but highly unlikely. Craftworlders are normally treated as the "ultimate" plaything yes, but I highly doubt a Craftworlder would ever fall as low as joining a Kabal (especially an Autarch) but then again thats the great thing about 40k, anything can happen.

Also if your looking for a miltaristic craftworld, the best choice would be biel-tan. saim-hann is more tribal in nature, and while they are war like, the arent known for the most "gloriest of tactitians".

ah so Bie-Tan is more like the Ultramarines and Saim-Hann are more like the White Scars? if that the case I'll make her Bie-Tan. and of course they called Horus incorruptible and I am figuring that after being tortured and degraded for long enough Shivana's heart became consumed by the desire to dominate and degrade both her personal oppressors and the galaxy that she felt had betrayed and abandoned her. so didn't really "join" the Kabal as much as seized it as a tool to her own ends. just like any proper dark elder would do.

wasn't eldrad a special case with how old he is? i recall that all DE are immortal as long as they kill enough, i don't think normal eldar are immortal as they put them selves in crystals in the end.

from what i understand the eldear are like elves in that as long as they avoid getting shot in the head or something they can keep on kicking. although really what I am looking for is not really how old elder can get to be but rather how long it takes for an elder to reach the rank of autarch or farseer. I am thinking something in the area of between 2500-3500 years to go from guardian to autarch

Eldar usually live for around 1000 years or so, it's just that McNeil wanted to stick another 40k reference into his Heresy books, so he included Eldrad. The Dark Eldar get around their life expectancy with the constant regeneration, although even that seems to have limits, but the Craftworlders don't. In a way, Farseers live for even less time, as their bodies crystalise over time, another thing McNeil forgot about when including Eldrad.

From what I understand Eldar have a REALLY long lifespan. Yes, this could span multiple centuries. The problem being is that with constant war, as well as the Farseer's slowly crystalizing (and I would guess bonesingers as well... if I remember right that is a type of seer after all) their lifespan is shortened drasticly. I could see an Autarch easily pushing 1000 years and over, as for their "experience" means they know how to dodge a bullet or two

hey there, thanks for all the help and input. so now I'll get off to start hammering out the actual Kabal article so keep an eye out for it.
