Greetings fellow Kabalites,

First, allow me to say hi. I`m a long-time Dark Eldar player, but it`s only now that I decided to join the hallowed ranks of the Dark City. I hope to make a few meaningful contributions to the dreadful and sinister atmosphere around here, but at the very least I'm glad to be part of, and have access to, a community of knowledgeable DE players.

Right, with all the greetings out of the way, here's a quick 1750 list I put together for friendly games, aimed at using pretty much everything in my collection (so far). Please tell me what you think of it.

Archon- agonizer, combat drugs, shadow field, phantasm grenade launcher- 145
Haemonculous- shattershard- 65
Haemonculous- liquefier gun- 60
10 Kabalite Warriors- blaster- 105
-Raider- flickerfield- 70
9 Wyches- haywire grenades, Hekatrix w. agonizer- 138
-Raider- flickerfield- 70
9 Wyches- haywire grenades, Hekatrix w. agonizer- 138
-Raider- flickerfield- 70
6 Incubi- 132
-Raider- flickerfield- 70
3 Trueborn- 3 blasters- 81
-Venom- extra splinter cannon- 65

Ravager- flickerfield- 115

Razorwing Jetfighter- flickerfield, night shield- 165

Total: 1750 on the dot

Thoughts: The overall idea is that the Archon + Incubi, as well as Wyches, zoom forward to engage the enemy after I soften them up with shooting (the Haemies stay on Raiders to give their tokens to the Wyches, and do drive-by flamings), while everything else provides fire support, and the Warriors grab objectives. Any thoughts?

ravager with FF is 115pts, not 70pts (i think you mixed it up with a raider lol! )
anyway, looks like a good list with nothing much i would change Smile

Whoops! You're right-- this is what happens when I post army lists while half-asleep. The last I checked, though, my army list was still accurate even with the Ravagers at their proper cost.

Biggest thing that sticks out to me - this list is mostly a lean mean killing machine, but you have those random 10 Warriors. 5 is all you need for what the squad is doing. That's a lot of points to toss out for a little bit of extra shooting. I would sack them for something else, maybe even just extra Trueblasters.

Also, your Razorwing I'm guessing has some upgrades that you're not saying what they are.

Yes it does-- flickerfield and night shield, both of which I forgot to mention in the list. I'll correct that now.

Re: the Warriors-- I wanted them at 10, firstly, so that they could provide adequate fire support with plenty of splinter rifles, and secondly, I wanted them able to soak casualties in case I needed to hold an objective. Of course, in an ideal list, I'd also try to fit in splinter racks or a splinter cannon, neither of which I had room for. You suggestion to drop them down in number, however, has merit, and I'll give it a try.

To my mind their ability to 'soak damage' is minimal at best and mostly connected to the Raider surviving. Ten T3 5+ models are not really that much harder to kill than five of them.
