Hey everybody,
My name is mikezealous, and I am new to the forum!
I am planning to start a Dark Eldar army in the next week or so, and felt like joining a forum to learn more about the background of the Dark Kin, as well as get some good feedback on the construction of my future Kabal.
Ive been playing 40k since about 2000, with 4 armies over that space of time (Space Marines, Tau, Guard, and finally my favorite, the Blood Angels!) So that basically means im used to mechanized infantry and lots of shooting stuff
I figured i would start the Dark Eldar for a few reasons:
1. I wanted a cool Xenos army with a somewhat similar playstyle to BA with more finesses and less margin for error
2. I love the model range for DE, and really look forward to making my own paintscheme/ background fluff for the Kabal
3. The DE have always seemed a bit interesting to me; prior to their new codex ive largely played against die hard DE generals who know their army pretty well, so ive gained respect for the army and the people who chose to play it, due to the fact that it doesnt seem like the most forgiving of armies.
Anyway, I look forward to spending alot of time in the Dark City!
