Interesting you have a marine as an Archon. Stolen, or as we like to say, acquired, armor. Interesting.

I like the start of this so far. I'm a fan of metallics, so I look forward to seeing more.

I guess you are using a cell phone camera? They are not the best, but given that or nothing, I prefer something.

one thing that can really help with the glare is to use a piece of white or light blue paper in the background so the glare is cut out and the light is reflected more subtley. If the pictures come out to dark, what can also help, if your camera can do it, is to overexpose the settings so like a +1 or +0.7 EV. its help to brighten up photos.

I'd like to see more pics of the incubi, those look pretty good.

I love metalic paints. I mix the ones i have (gold, silver, brass, and ruby) with my other colors to make them more unique.

I cant figure out the head I want to use for my Archon though. and i dont have the Archon model.

I tried to make this pics as good as possible with my crap phone, some are okay some kinda suck. Ill put them up anyways.

I made a list of all the stuff i want from the GW site, and its a little over a grand. With the prices at the store i go to plus to discount i get it should be around 700-800$ to get everything.

You made a tremendous start to your army. The background fluff is a great read and you already have a sizeable raiding force. I will be very interested in how the Devilfish turn out, based on your Archon. That was a cool idea!

I agree with GAR, if you can get some more light on your figs and also lighten the background area behind them, it would reaaly help us see more on your models.

I have a good camera i can use, i just couldnt find it last night and i was really excited. And i have 1 raider and 1 venom to put together still. Im going to make them white, and they are going to be my flag ships. I have have 2 box of wyches too. But i dont need that many, so im going to see if i can trade them at my shop and get some store credit or swap it out for a different unit.

But for my haemonculus im going to make all kinds of different looks. for one, im converting over a vampire count lord, and the other will be commander shadowsun from the tau converted over.

Im really excited to get everything finished.

No photos this post, just an update. I got Daemonettes to use as Blood brides for the squad my Archon will be in to show his demon slaves. I got my runes for things all drawn out. But i cant think up a fleet symbol.

First off, this is my Haemonculus Toro. Its a Commander Shadowsun with a kroot headed, cleaverly name Commander Shadowkroot

Im not sure if i like the small space marine arms yet or not. What do you think?

So converting these made me feel like a mad scientist. Slicing people apart, body parts laying everywhere, and piecing them back together in my own liking! Muahahaha!

Aha! Another that has seen the infinite potential of Kroot as Wracks and Grotesques! Absolutely loving them, great stuff. Is your kroot haemonculus a dark eldar that just fancied one day to turn himself into a kroot, or a kroot shaper that was fortunate enough to devour a few haemonculi?

My grotesques need bases, they are nothing like the kroot, except for the fact i used from bits to make the kroot.

And the Haemonculus was once a Shaper who fought with the dark eldar as a mercenary and loved to amazing powers which the haemonculi possessed. He spent some time proving himself to the lead haemonculus of my army, and was crafted in his image. He took the knowledge which he had learned and transformed his lesser kroot into twisted beasts of flesh and steal.

Everything still needs washed but i like the way it turned out

I have 2 more that look similar to him, and i will be converting a terminator to have the same style for my Abberation.

Im using a winged vampire lord from the fantasy vampire count army for my Ancient haemonculus.

im not sure what I'm going to use as my 3rd haemonculus. I may make a terminator into one. But just for fun I may by a daemon prince and convert it. But I'm really not sure yet.

Any ideas about what to use for my 3rd haemonculus would be nice. I want to keep the winged undead vampire feeling, and heavy conversion isnt a problem to get it where i need.

So i know not to may people follow my plog or fluff updated, but I figured out what im going to use as my 3rd haemonculus.



Itll only take a little conversion, and will give me the exact look im going for.

As for my other wracks in my army, i may do extreme conversions of chaos/space marines or just the normal wrack models. I kind of want to do daemon wracks but im still not sure as the daemon options are pretty limited and none really fit unless i want pink horrors or just a total mix and match with just random guys. I'll have to put more thought into it, but i have alot of painted ahead of me before i get anything else.

I like the use of the hair/feathers/dreads, it ties them all together (in their Wrackly disparity .. ) and the stance is nice - they look like they are marching out to war. The cyberarm is a nice touch, too. It's a reminder of their essentially artificial nature as beings.

I havent gotten any work done, aside from finding an unopenned venom in my pile of boxes. I need to be more carefully!

But im going to finish my razorwing, raiders, and venoms this week so i can have some sexy looking boats.

Im not good at the battle scared look, so I'm just going for some plane very looking raiders. I dont like the spikes and chains all over the front, with the exception of the boat my Archon is going to use so it looks more awesome than the rest.

These are where i got the arms for my kroot and haemonculus as well. I know its not very exciting at this point but they will be finished soon. I just was the WIP pics too. I like how my army is coming along, i just need to get off Skyrim and focus a little more. I hope you guys like and leave lots of comments

And I think I'm gonna steal you the idea for wracks i've just like 15 kroots here; and I don't really know what to do with them (I've bought them with other taus long time ago)

I don't really like the SM/Archon, I think that the armor is too big for my concept of Archon (Fast, really fast ) Great works, especially for wracks and grotesques

What is the Daemonette used for? A Succubus? A Haemoncula ?

The daemonettes will be bloodbrides.

It goes with the fluff of my army.

And thanks my army seems weird now, but once its all together everything will work properly

So I havent spent any time lately painting of assembling any models. Both of my friends who play currently have no time, and neither do i. But I am going to force myself into spending an hour or 2 a night just so i can slowly make progress.

I still have TONS of venoms and raiders and a bunch of stuff still in boxes, even though ive still been buying guys.

I will have pictures in the next day or two of my work.

I basically finished assembling my Pain engine/daemon princes. Im going to get them commission painted so they will be truly amazing.

I just need to put a little more detail on the one because it looks a little to daemony(?)

But I need to finish the bone coloring on my grotesques and ill put them on hereas well. I just havent had ANY time recently between work school and pregnant wife.
