Kabal of the Secret Blade

The first finished squad for my new Kabal.
An archon is currently in progress and will follow soon.

Looking good, i particularly like the cobbled effect on the bases and the sheen on the armour, did you use a gloss varnish or is it just the lighting?

Oh my. Those look a lot like my own wyches. I love it!

The cobblestones came from Plastruct molded plastic sheets.
The red areas are just Red Gore with a couple of washes of Badab Black. The armor sections are Tin Btz with Burnished Gold lightly pulled over the ridges and edges.
No varnishing or other effects were used. They both came out better than I expected so didn't want to tamper with it too much.

The red is darker in reality than in the photos even though I did not use any flash when taking the pics.

I am working on doing a history and fluff write up for the Kabal. Once I nail down the final details I will get it posted to the relevant area.

The finished Archon. Still trying to settle on a name.
Armed with a Splinter Pistol and Huskblade. Will also carry a Soul Trap and Webway Portal. A little points heavy but can't resist the potential of a Str 10 Archon running around.
