I think i've got my head round this! confusing to start with but if some could confirm if i'm correct that would be sound.

Raider/Venom

Move 6", units can disembark they cannot move but can shoot or assault, if they do not dismbark all units inside raider may fire, can fire all weapons mounted on vehicle (only one in this case).

Move 12", units can disembark they cannot move but can assault or shoot, units cannot fire if they are inside the vehicle, can fire one weapon mounted on the vehicle (can you still fire one weapon even if there is only one mounted on it?).

Move Flat out up to 24" but cannot fire anything (fast skimmer moving flat out can move 24" if i read rule book right)


Ravager

Move up to 12" and fire everything (aerial assault special rule allows moving at cruising speed and fire all weapons)

Move 12" to 24" and not fire anything.

Razorwing

Move up to 12" and fire everything (aerial assault special rule allows moving at cruising speed and fire all weapons)

Move up to 36" and not fire anything (supersonic rule)

Have i got all that right?

any help much appreciated

yes you have it right. So for clarification

Fast, open topped vehicles allow you to

Stand still, shoot everything.

Move 6in, shoot everything, passangers may shoot as well, but only as if moved (so no heavy weapons, rapid fire where needed)

move 12" shoot 1 gun (and all defensive weapons), passangers may not shoot, but may disembark to fire. they can also assault as per open topped ruling. Remember as per FAQ poison is a defensive weapon, hence venom can shoot its cannon and rifles (or second cannon)

Move up to 24 (36 for jet) and get a 4+ coversave. May not fire.

Arial Assault overrides the normal rulings, so ravagers and jets may move up to 12" and shoot everything.
