Since this will be representing a Reaver, I wanted to make the skyboard weapons pods look more like additional thrusters—hence why I mounted them pointing backwards.

As much as I'd love to have the thing remote controlled because I think it looks pretty good like this, the micro razorwing (TM) needs to be a little more Covenified, so I will have a wrack pilot fused into its fuselage on the underside, and he will have the normal reaver underslung splinter rifle mounted at his waist.

Hellions? No way, hose. They're meant to be reavers. No one loves Hellions!

Also, I've started cracking on two new Mandrakes for Koshi! I'm a little jealous since I feel like the sculpting on them has benefitted from my recent work with the reavers. These mandrakes are already looking a little sexier than my own

There's only one thing that bothers me. The converted tail needs to be more central underneath the model because it doesn't really look as if that angle could support the weight of the dude on top.
Regarding the conversion work itself, solid Looks appropriately horrific. Perhaps the mounds on the back could have a poison vial or exhaust outlet attached (or maybe just a socket hole)?

I figured they were just springing forward rather than being supported fully on the tail.
They look great by the way.
