can dedicated transports fire weapons without passengers ?

Can I empty out my troops of my DT and still fire all the weapons? Just seems odd if so due to for example, most guns are turret like, with shields or what not for passengers. I'm curious bcuz I'm running dais of destruction, and it would be expediently usefully if it can be fired if empty.

Short answer: Yes you can!

Long answer: A vehicles profile includes all necessary crew members to fire all it's weapons. The transport capacity is just a bonus on top of that. The embarked unit stays separate from the vehicle except for movement purpose. They still fire their own weapons at their own targets.

as Tiri said, yes you can. It wouldnt make sense if you cant, why would an army go to battle without the required gunners and drivers? Take the real world for example. You dont see a bradly assault vehicle hit the ground without its gun personel do you?
