1200 pts list for tournament

My friends and me started recently to play wh40k. We have first 1200 tournament coming soon, and I would like Your opinion on that DE list. My foes will be: CSM, Tyranids x2, Eldar, Blood Angels.

Splinter Cannons: 10

We play with max 4 troops, 2 elites, 2 hs, 2 fa, 2hq. Also all mission will have first turn of night fight, and my question is, how you guys play during night fight, you go forward and shoot anyway or just stay back and wait for second turn?

Firstly some words to the list: The list you posted is only 1181 points. I suppose you forgot to mention FF's on the Raiders.

The list is pretty solid and changes that could be made are most likely to personal preferences of who offered those suggestions.

Here are mine:
- Drop the shattershard, the two SC's on Trueborn-squad 2 and both kabalite warrior squads and instead get for the left points -> 3x Blasters on both Trueborn squads, haywire grenades to the second Wyches and 2x 3 Wracks in a Venom with 2x SC's

Would bring you to 1996 points, which is usually better than having 1 point to much. Your trueborn squads would be more effective and well... no one needs 10 splinter cannons in 1200 points, especially not in a list with 2 wyches squads. (I already fought against horde armies with only 2 Splintercannons in the list... (...and won.))

To your question: I wouldn't bother that much with the night, since you can reroll the range. For me it depends on if I go first, what I face as enemy and how the terrain/his army is set up how I act the first turns.

drop the shattershard, most times you really only get 1 flame in a game anyway, so you could use those points to either get haywires on the second wych squad, or get more blasters instead of the Splinterborn... Ive never liked splinterborn as they overlap where your venoms already do much better, and for cheaper and sturdier.
