| The usual wraithcannon penetrates on 5 or 6, so if this is an advanced version it should do that too (though it is a bit funny that the older one is called advanced when they don't know what they will be later). | |

| if i remember right asuramen founded the 1st aspect shrines (if i remember right he was isha's son and taught the arts of war by khaine himself, so that has to be pre fall) on the eldar homeworlds as a 'path' to focus the eldar away from their pleasure cults and wanton hedonism. then as more eldar came to realise what was going on the craftworlds began to form and the pupils of asuramen formed shrines on their craftworlds based on their chosen art of war, this is when ahra went ape and burned the actual shrines on the homeworlds down. when the craftworlds went into space the surviving eldar then used webway to keep in touch and the aspect shrines got more widespread with some CW favouring certain aspects and some of the shrines being lost/forgotten (like maugan-ra and his cursed crone/craftworld atlantis- i mean altansar ) i do think though that a war in heaven list would be a much better 'to play' list than a strict eldar only one. Korok is a nice touch, maybe have a more shamanic leader figure as channels for mork and gork (the old ones)kind of like weird boys but not nucking futs like they ended up in M35+. the eldar troops would be weilding the swords of valar (as mentioned) which would have to be either like haywire effects or some emp style effect weapons as they were supposed to be swords of lightning that zapped the necrontyr to bits and made the ctan get sphincter twitches. am i remembering right that there was a mention of khaine trained eldar too that faught with mini wailing dooms? or am i just getting hopefull here? were they just the swords of valar? was asuramen their first? were these the aspect of khaine? i know the sword holds his brothers soul but maybe they would have used chanelled pieces of khaine in making their swords instead of dead eldar? oh that sounds quite like the new necron ctan avatar rumors LOL its been a while since i read the necron dex though | |

| I think immense psychic powers are pretty much a given here, after all that's what made them capable of fighting the Necrons. At this point, their powers probably wouldn't be used primarily for future-sight, but also for utterly blasting away the enemy. It seems like the Eldar work similarly to the Orks in their psychic power (reasonable considering that they both came from the Old Ones) in that the more of them there are, the more psychic power they have (Waaagh energy in the case of the Orks). | |

| Good point about psychic powers. They also don't hold back on using them, since Warp apparently was pretty calm before fall... | |

| With that in mind, I can see them being pretty much immune to PotW. Or at least having their count-as ghosthelm ignoring it on 2+.
It is a bit odd in time this, even more so than guys like Eldrad and Tycho being playable...

| IMHO we could use something like Space Puppies for HQ - double (or even triple) HQ with "unique" heroes (or just really kickass Haemonculi).
Smells herohammer, but we could somehow ballance it...
