Urien Rakarth, Haemonculi, Wracks and Grotesques

The dark carnival, flesh crafters, insane artists. The Haemonculi Covens are an opportunity for even the most mild mannered hobbyist to go mad. Please share your work. The more disturbing the better.

Here is my custom Haemonculi, inspired by Clive Barkers Hellraiser series. Will upate when I have paint on the model.

Coven of the Shard - patrons of the Kabal of the Poisoned Thorn

I call this "Self portrait in Red." As you can see, I'm not really an Archon, just Urien Rakarth in disguise.

Fooled you, eh?

I just pretend to be an Archon when the Muses aren't looking, and they in turn indulge me by letting me go on raids in this fluffy red and white suit. For some reason the mon-keigh can't stop laughing, and so we just clean up!

Urien and the start of my blue skinned Dark Eldar.

Two squads of Grotesques converted from Skaven Rat Ogres and Talos/Cronos bitz. Each squad has an Aberration with Scissorhands. The gunner is for a Coven Raider/Ravager.

First off, this is my Haemonculus Toro. Its a Commander Shadowsun with a kroot headed, cleaverly name Commander Shadowkroot

Wracks, which I made from Kroot. Some could use a little more work, but i think for what they are they look good.

So converting these made me feel like a mad scientist. Slicing people apart, body parts laying everywhere, and piecing them back together in my own liking! Muahahaha!

Howdy,

This is my first post, so I hope I do right by it.

Unsatisfied with the cost of the Wracks and the sculpts of the Grotesques, I set out to come up with my own formula:

For the Wracks, I used a whole pile of WHFB bits: Bloodletters, Flagellants, Ghouls, and Orc bows.








For my Grotesques, I started off with Paulson Games Bioterrors, added some Talos bits, and then did a whole pile of sculpting:








That last was meant to be the "Meat Rack"; the Grotesque in charge of harvesting all of the trophies from the slain.

I hope you find them as fun as I did to make

Another very inspiring page. Most of the conversion shown here are much more inventive than I have tried (or even considered). It would be great to see painted updates if people are still around on site.
