1,500 Points of What I've Got

So, the only model I need for this list is a single haemy, so it will cost next to nothing to finish it up. It's not particularly exciting, but it has stuff I like in it and am looking forward to using.

So, it hits 1,500 on the nose, which I like. If I want to, I still have some things I could switch out, like wracks instead of warriors or I also have some scourges lying around in need of some weapon bits. I like that I use at least on of each of the FOC. I know venoms aren't quite as good anymore, but I have too many lying around to not use and I still think they will be very nasty. Same with the blasterborn, they might not be as good, but they are certainly still a threat. The only models I currently own that I wouldn't be using in this list are a few stray warrior models, wracks, and a single venom.

I'm not sure what I want to get next, but I certainly want to paint this list up, get a bunch of games in, and then figure out what it is I want to do with them as I expand before jumping back on the Chaos bandwagon. I won't feel bad about that since I played CSM for 8 years.

With the release of 6th Edition, I think that Flicker Fields are not that good a buy. Basically, all our skimmers need to do is move to get a cover save. I've never used shock prows but they're generally not looked well upon.

As I see it, you can drop all the flicker fields and the shock prows for 70 points. That would leave you space to use night shields. IMO, they're pretty good on Raiders now. Have the same sorts of problems on ravagers. You can also buy a five man squad of wracks as an objective holder.

I got that 60 points could be freed up that way. So, that would be enough for five wracks with a liquifier gun. Worth it?

Or night shields.

Not sure.

I certainly like the idea of the list though.
