| This will be a starting point for an army that I will eventually expand to something much larger later on. Here goes:
Haemonculus -60
4 Blasterborn, Venom, Splinter Cannon - 173
10 Warriors, Blaster, Splinter Cannon, Raider Flickerfield - 185 9 Wyches, Shardnet and Impaler, Hekatrix, Agoniser, Raider, Flickerfield, Shock Prow - 205
6 Reavers, 2 Heat Lances - 156
Ravager, Flickerfield - 115 Ravager, Flickerfield - 115
Totals: 999 Points 24 Infantry 6 Jetbikes 6 Vehicles 5 Blasters 3 Splinter Cannons 2 Heat lances 8 Dark Lances
I already have the troops for this list, as well as the troop transports. I also have the reavers. I need the haemonculus, the blasterborn, venom, and a couple of ravagers.
Any tips would be great. At the moment, I'm concerned about coming up with enough blasters for the true born. I know that the warriors would be better off as 5 with a blaster in a venom, but I'm not sure what I would do with the left over points. As I expand, I will most likely be adding those sorts of units.

| Pretty solid list. You'll have problems with objective based missions with just two troop choices, but the list is solid otherwise. 5 man units of Kabalites in Venoms are kinda the norm, but I do believe in running 10 man units in Raiders as well. I think that you will be fine if you use the ranged firepower of the Ravagers, TB's, and HL's of the Reavers(I personally love the 6 man +2XHeatlance setup) to soften up enemy units before committing your 2 troop units. All in all a good starting list. | |

| Looks good. Might as well split the Reavers into two 3-bike squads, you wouldn't really lose anything. Also, don't discount Raiders for 5-man Kabalite squads. | |

| Also, just as a consideration - look at the cost of those bikes, and look at the cost of the Ravagers - I really don't think you're getting good bang for your buck there.
I'll second ESE's thoughts on Troops. I would never go in with only two Troop selections except maybe at 500 points. DE have potent Troops and usually need a lot of them for objective missions. I'd trim some of the other stuff (specifically looking at the bikes here) to get some more Troop options in.
Also, at 1000 points you're just as well served with 3 Blasterborn, and that's a solid pile of points saved.

| The list options have been well covered above. For the blasters for your trueborn I used the disintegrators from the ravager kit, chopped down and added to the butt end of a splinter rifle. See here a few pics down. https://thedarkcity.forummotion.com/t1968-kennys-megaforce-paintathonI justify the archon having a newer model, as he keeps the best gear for himself. | |

Also, at 1000 points you're just as well served with 3 Blasterborn, and that's a solid pile of points saved. So, cut the bikes completely, or just reduce them? What about a list like this: Haemonculus, liquifier gun, venom blade - 65 3 Blasterborn, Venom, Splinter Cannon - 146 10 Warriors, Blaster, Splinter Cannon, Raider Flickerfield - 185 5 Warriors, Blaster, Venom, Splinter Cannon - 125 9 Wyches, Shardnet and Impaler, Hekatrix, Agoniser, Raider, Flickerfield, Shock Prow - 205 6 Reavers, 2 Heat lances - 156 Ravager, flickerfield - 115 Total: 997

| what I think Thor is saying your better off with droping them and using their points for another Ravager, sprinkling around some upgrades and more bodies where they need to be with the extra points.
As for bikes, I personally love them, but he is right, at 1k they arent worth it (unless your HS is filled and have some solid troop choices) If you insist on keeping the bikes though, split them into two squads of 3, and have them harrass the enemy all game.

| Okay, makes sense. I don't feel like I can fit blasterborn and three ravagers in 1k points though if I want to include a third troop choice.
Haemonculus, Liquifier gun, Venom Blade - 65
4 Blasterborn, Venom, Splinter Cannon - 173
10 Warriors, Blaster, Splinter Cannon, Raider Flickerfield, Grisly Trophies - 190 5 Warriors, Blaster, Venom, Splinter Cannon, Grisly Trophies - 130 9 Wyches, Shardnet and Impaler, Hekatrix, Agoniser, Raider, Flickerfield, Shock Prow, Grisly Trophies - 210
Ravager, flickerfield - 115 Ravager, flickerfield - 115
Total: 998
Better? | |

| looks great. try it out and see if you like it!!! and actually it is quite possible to fit in blasterborn and 3 ravagers, but it takes a great eye for saving points. Like this: 65- haemie w/ liquifer, venom blade 146- 3 blasterborn in venom w/ extra cannon 95- 3 wracks in venom w/ extra cannon 95- 3 wracks in venom w/ extra cannon 95- 3 wracks in venom w/ extra cannon 78- 3 reavers w/ heat lance 78- 3 reavers w/ heat lance 115- ravager w/ flickerfield 115- ravager w/ flickerfield 115- ravager w/ flickerfield total: total-997 This was my 1k list for an escalation league I did. It came out in 1st (actually I came out in 1st for every leg of it... kinda funny if you ask me ) and it did well against even super spammy GKs... (when there are 3 psyflemen against you in 1k... it is all in the rolls) | |

| I like the second list Dan, think you'll get more survivability out of it. And 2 Ravagers should be enough to deal with whatever your rivals can come up with. Unless you've got that one jerk of a friend who always brings a Monolith at 1k games... I was once that friend. Mwahaha.
(side note... Monolith may not be so scary now, haven't read the new Cron book)
