Eldar Rumour Thread

My guess would be Phil Kelly and Jes Goodwin do the eldar, it seems to be accepted in games dev that they did a really good job with our codex.
At the 40k open day, someone did ask Jes Goodwin what he'd change about the eldar, he was largely happy with the design, i think he mentioned the falcon turret and the textured armour on some of the models, and obviously we know he's got a jetbike sculpt ready to go

Eldar rumours from Warseer, one of Darnok's 'Birdys' which as far as I know have been very hit and miss in the past....

I don't see any need to redo the Guardians or DA, both are solid kits. I do not buy the "jetbikes stay" though. They are one of the oldest kits in production, don't really fit the current aesthetic, we know GW is working on them, and last but by no means least: they would sell like hot cakes. It would be beyond stupid to not redo them.

Wraithguard are the obvious candidate for "plastic with second build" treatment, so that is almost a given. As are new character models, both in plastic and Finecast.

The DA character would be a nice addition, something not "hero of eternal war", but a bit more down to earth would be a good addition. Not sure wether it's true, but I would like it.

If translation is done now, that should put the release somewhere between early summer and end of 2013.
