| Hey guys, Old school 40k player here. Mostly playing Grey Knights and Dark Angels but I'm really being lured over to the dark side by the Dark Eldars beautiful miniatures, awesome theme and back story and the idea of playing a glass hammer army. I like the idea of playing something fragile but very fast, dynamic and dangerous. So here I am. Nice to meet you all! | |

| Glad to have you here! The army range is truly beautiful, and the army mechanics provide a great challenge to master (no 3+ saves to bail you out when you make mistakes!). My favorite army because as hard as it may be to master, it is even more rewarding once you get the hang of it | |

| Thanks for the welcome guys. Yeah most of my local meta is big game (2000+ points) very static power armour gunlines. It's currently being dominated by a particularly devious Necron player though. He's going to be my main challenge I think. As I currently own a single DE model, a metal Lelith that I HAD to buy on release simply because it's a stunning mini, any advice on where to take a fresh virgin army would be appreciated. I'm playing around with the 'Dex right now fiddling with a 500 point build to get me going. I'll post a first stab at a list later but any guidance on basic tactics is more than welcome. | |
