1k Footdar fun

So was brainstorming in the chat earlier and came up with some interesting ideas for footdar.

While I may be 'tailoring' the list by keeping in mind that my local meta is a necron player (who is not always... accurate in his own lists/rules) who has a monolith... (singular tense on both for a reason) I am not looking at this as an all comers or anything super competative, I just want to beat face with out being tooooo stupidly specific to the player.

Right now I'm toying with a simple straight forward sit and shoot him for a turn or two followed by marching straight down the feild and getting into CC

List is:
2 Haems with Hexrifles
2 Warrior Squads w/ 20 Warriors + 2 SC (per squad)
5 Scourge with Blasters
2 Cronos Engines + Vortexes
1 Ravager + NS

Leaves 15 pts.

What about replacing the Scourges with two squads of sniperborn?

3 Truborn, 2 Dark Lances - 86

They would be more survivable (long range, ruins, area terrain and going to ground), and have more reach.

Unfortunately that puts me 17pts over... Unless I drop the Hexrifles in which case I have 13pts of play... but pretty much maxed squads...

Maybe VBs on the Haems? Again assuming a turn 2 or 3 move to engage in CC. This would leave 3 pts.

Yeah, I think it's worth having 4 more dark lances.

Shadow, I will have to tailor your list (as I only have 2 of the old Talos models to use as engines). May I ask for the logic behind the equipment on the taloi? I should be having this match soonish, possibly tonight, so i figured raising this thread from the dead was better than duplicating it in a new thread... hope thats ok.

As it stands I've redone the list to reflect only 2 engines as follows:
2 Naked Haems
2 Trueborn Lance teams, 3 with 2 DLs
2 Warrior squads, 20 with 2 SCs
3 Reavers with a Blaster and an Arena Champ with a Power Lance (unit honestly is kind of just tossed in there, for the same cost I could add a few other things, Maybe Beast Masters, 2 + 4 Khym + 2 Razors?)
2 Taloi, 1 with TL Liquifer, TL HWB and the other with Chainflails, TL HWB
