| Something you may struggle with is fielding so few troops. It doesn't take much to shoot down 10 wyches, and once your opponent has done that, you're going to be stuck for objectives. If you have more warriors available to you, I'd definitely field them. If not, at least change one of your trueborn units to warriors to give you more scoring units. There's a couple other places I would choose to trim points- I would aim to get more troops in if you can. | |

| Some quick thoughts. 1 at 1k two troops is passable, but those troops, especially wyches, should probably catch a ride.
2 avoid the Imperial thinking (Oh if I can squeese another body in here the squad will be safer!). For Dark eldar you want to optimize each squad per its fighting cabability and it's survivability, I'm going to call this the unit's killiness.
You trueborn squads go from peak killiness to point sinks that are no more survivable for the extra bodies than they are at peak killiness, as we go to battle in paper airplanes stocked with bad action movie quantities of nitro (makes em go faster!) and wearing little more than skin suits of paper. If they can kill 3 Trueborn, they can kill 4, and propably get 5 with ease. Beyond that, the points increase for more wounds that are... meh anyway, and 1 blaster that doesn't bring damage potential too much anyway. Find a better place for the points and you should see a spike in the overall killiness of the list.
On the Wyches, Haywire Grenades are not needed but can be Really useful and give the wyches something they can hunt, instead of just being a tar pit. Also a Hecatrix with a PGL is a must, having the cover it grants is worth it alone.
I assume the venoms have all that equipment so they can Deep strike? That could be fun.
Never used a bastion, hope it helps with the flyers! Please post a rep after your next game!
The other thought I had, and this (even more so than anything else I said, is personal preference). Asside from the idea that you have much 'weaker'(No shadowfield) HQ, Ever thought about a Succubus with a cheap and simple load out? If you giver even just a Venom Blade and stick her in one of the above wych squads, I know she will shine more than you anticipae (she always does for me, even if she looks very meh on paper)

If you're taking Wyches without Haywires you're better off with, well, pretty much any other troop choice! Haywires give the 5-man Wych sqauds their only real purpose in the game - tank hunting. What else can a 5-man Wych unit do?

Side note, I was confronted with the numbers, and if you cruch it having a 4th blaster is a good increase in the math hammer projections for damage potential, but you run another 27pts, which is a lot, would pay for wych upgrades, and the risk of still only needing to loose 1 to break on a bad day.

As those wyches are going to be dead before the game starts!

| Depending on how many "a lot" of flyers and vehicles is, you might struggle, I'm sure that's occurred to you! But all is not lost! Pray to the dice gods, hope for good terrain, and keep the mounted wych squad alive for as long as you possibly can. This might be difficult in an open topped skimmer with two hull points, admittedly, but if you prioritise your targets correctly they could still achieve something. The Talos will draw an absolute ton of fire, so use that to your advantage - although it stands a really good chance of wrecking a tank, it has to get to it first, and this will be problematic as it's so slow. Use it to draw fire away from the stuff you want to survive, such as objective holders or tank busters. If it dies, it dies, but it should have taken a lot of killing, and if it survives then start chopping up tanks with it. When you break cover with the Venom wyches, make sure the Talos is visible too, it's your abhuman shield. Don't put them so close together that large blasts can hit both of them though, I've made that mistake before... | |

| Well i played three games yesterday & won 2 of them i even took out a a armor 14 land raider in the first game with my talos pain engine so i am not doing to badly. i concentrated on taking out the non-vehicle troops while playing hide & seek with the land raider tank using my raider full of warriors. then i walked my pain engine over to his tank & smashed it. | |
