Kabal of the Venomed Vengeance

Evening folks!
I just felt that I wanted to share my first wip mini from my own pirate themed kabal, "The Kabal of the Venomed Vengeance".
The army is mainly dark eldar but got roughly 600 pts Eldar allies in it.


The whole army is built around two characters. First we got Lady Archon Viconia Zaufin.




The second character is a Eldar outcast farseer from the Saim hann craft world (a bit short on fluff on this so far).


The Farseer will have a hood green stuffed on him and painted in the same color scheme as Viconia



The thing that binds these two characters together is a common goal (due to my local meta) and the relation between Shaimesh and the cosmic serpent.

That's about as far as I've come both fluff wise, modeling and painting wise... What do you guys think about it??

Time for a small update!
Not that much really. To be frank I thought I had posted some more pics of my Kabalites over here in my own little shack in TDC but I guess not. =P

Here's my first Kabalite trueborn/Dracon.
I wanted these units to stand out from the rest of my Kabalites so I went towards a more grayish armor. The original plan was to have red loin cloths, reversed color scheme from my Kabalites, but I decided to go for purple instead =)

Next up is my True borns Venom. This one is not yet quite finished, the red is a little mottled which irritates me, I'm afraid I'll have to dry brush the red parts red again and start over =/

Last but not least we have a Raider. This is the one vehicle I'm most satisfied with atm. I just need to add some crew and it's all set
[Edit] I see this is a old photo. Some things has been fixed since the pic was taken, the sail has a more even red color the steering has been painted silver and the black blob on the front grey plate has been fixed

Well that's all for me this time.
I'll try to add some pics of my Kabalite warriors sooner or later. I also has a Razor wing jet fighter waiting to be painted this week end and eventually I'll get my hands on some Reaver jet bikes the week after that. Holy c***p they are expensive =P

I love the modeling on your two characters, and the back story is really cool too. Where did you get the body for your farseer? it looks great. keep up the great work.

Really awesome Farseer you have there. (It's all really good, I just love the farseer especially). What did you make him from?

The body is from the GW High Elf Mage box, one arm is from the Kabalite box, the other from the venom box. =)

Time for a long overdue update!!
The Farseer is still being a WIP but I've slabed some paint on him =)

Yeah red eyes would be awesome, don't think I got the skills to make that look good though =/

Heres another WIP.
This time it's my female Archon/ Duke Sliscus =)
The body is from the blood high elf mage in the island of blood box. The rest is a mix of Dark eldar bits from diffrent boxes =)

Found inspiration over at warseer where a member had done something like this as a female Vect. Looked wonderful and couldn't resist to try this out myself. Cred to Isotope99 over at Warseer!!=)







I know, I know... The mini has one sword, sheathed behind her, and two daggers. But what can I say, I got a soft spot when it comes to daggers =)
The dual daggers/venomblades also works well with her being a Sliscus "count as" =)

So what do you guys and gals think? Yay or Nay!?

Yay ! It looks great !

The only thing i found a bit disturbing is the helmet... i think a simple female head could have more impact.

Time for another small update!
The time it's a converted Hameonculi based upon the Lhamaean mini with some talos bits and a wrack back.
It's not quite finished yet but I hope you like it anyway.

Yeah I know I got an archon based upon the same mini but with my new converted Archon my old one is kinda retired, plus... I love this mini =)

Very nice model and conversion. She looks very hot!
