incubi shooting attack?

I just noticed in the codex that incubi have a shooting attack the bloodstone, does each incubi in the squad have this template attack? Strength 3 so its 5+ to wound a marine hey?

No, it is only the Klaivex who have the flamer. (It is an upgrade for the klaivex)

It is quite nice to shoot before you get into assault. But since you already wreck face in cc it seems quite unnecessary unless you face csm and they have 20man squads of marines. Then you can't go wrong with an extra flamer.

Oh I see thanks I always just have my five incubi with an Archon, I might get another 5 as ten would be an awesome assault unit would it not?

A lot to invest in a unite that could potentially end up slogging across the board if their raider gets destroyed. You would need to make sure their are more important targets for your opponent to shoot at, but it's hard to find something more intimidating and vulnerably than 9 incubi and an archon in a raider. This is why most generals stick to four in a venom with an archon.

The Incubi, after the new FAQ are the strongest and faster unit in war 40k.
Actually, they got a power fist with I 6, AS 3+ and if you put the archon with shadowfield in this squad, so is not easy to destroy them.
If you try to put the Incubi in the raider and in the same time you move toward the middle of the battle the wyches with lelith, Your enemy,of course, will choose your wyches as target and not the Incubi.

P.S. in the second turn, The incubi are in the middle of the battlefield and that's it.
