Assuming Succubus goes with Trueborn, seems like a bit of a wasted opportunity as that unit should be avoiding combat most of the game.

Perhaps drop the second avenger catapult on the avenger exarch to trade the succubus for an Archon with a Blaster. Making your blaster born squad very scary and giving you 2 squads (the other being the fire dragons) that can bust anything short of land raiders without much hassle and take them out too with a little luck.

You have plenty of anti-infantry too with the avenger squad, the multiple double-cannon venoms and the razorwing.

I don't know much about Yriel personally but he seems like a good choice at a glance.

What if i instead drop the singing spear to get the archon with blaster?

That would work too.

I can't really advocate taking Guardians, for 85pts you basically get a Shuriken cannon with 10 T3 shields. The Guardians themselves have such a short range they will definitely get charged the turn after they shoot and they will lose just about any combat, if they even survive the walk up the field to get in range.

Especially since you're allying with Dark Eldar, for 5 pts more you can have 10 Kabalites - which have poisoned guns, with longer range, that hit more often.

War Walkers on the other hand are very good. Compared to Guardians they are amazing, with 2 War Walkers with 2 cannons each costing as much as one guardian squad with a shuriken cannon. Taking 2 War Walkers over the guardians gives you 4 times as many cannons, which are mounted on a slightly tougher, scouting platform.

If you really want to use all the models from the army box then give the guardians a warlock with Conceal and then just hide all game with a nifty 3+ cover save, while the shuriken cannon does all the work.
If you don't mind not using them and buying something else, then use quite literally anything else from either codex - it will almost definitely do better.

I would drop the Dark Reapers in a heartbeat. 2 Outflanking War Walkers with Scatter Lasers is truly a godsend for DE filling the high-volume S6 that we lack.

And yes, Guardians are not much in the way of useful

So what if i double the scourges, double the warwalkers and give them scatter lasers?
