1250+250 Tourney

I'm currently considering an upcoming tournament ... considering because I'm still fairly new to the game mostly ... and wanted to propose my initial list for discussion here. The tournament is a 1250 base + 250 point sidebar equalling a 1500 point army. The 1250 remains between battles, the sidebar is 2 250 point lists chosen before each round. While I haven't seperated out the 250 points yet, and thus haven't formed a second sidebar, I'd like to get thoughts on my initial 1500 point list. (Keep in mind this is based on models I actually have at this time...)

HQ : Haemy Ancient w/ Agonizer, Liquifier Gun, Dark Gate = 135
Grouped with : Elite : 4 Incubi, 1 being a Klaivex with Demiklaives and Bloodstone = 138
Embarked on : Transport : Venom with Splinter Cannon upgrade = 65

HQ : Haemy w/ Venom Blade, Liquifier = 65
Grouped with : Elite : 4 Incubi, 1 being a Klaivex with Demiklaives and Bloodstone = 138
Embarked on : Transport : Venom with Splinter Cannon upgrade = 65

Troop : 5 Kabalite Warriors, 1 w/ Blaster = 60
Embarked on : Transport : Venom with Splinter Cannon upgrade = 65

Troop : 10 Warriors, 1 w/ Splinter Cannon = 100
Embarked on : Transport : Raider w/ Night Shields, Splinter Racks, Retrofire Jets = 85 (intent is to deep strike behind lines and rapid fire troops)

Troops : 6 Warriors = 54 (I have 1 other warrior not in the list but didn't put him here because of pts. These 54 points could go elsewhere and the warriors could get left off)

Troops : 10 Wyches w/ Haywire, 2 w/ Hydra Gaunts, 1 is a Hekatrix w/ PGL, Agonizer = 180
Embarked on : Transport : Raider w/ Enhanced Aethersails (not sold on this yet) = 65

Fast : 5 Scourges w/ 2 Haywire Blasters = 130

Heavy : Razorwing w/ Disintegrators and Splinter Cannons = 155


I also have a Succubus (and one of my Haemy models is Urien Rakarth) if I would be better suited than using the two Haemys.

Anyway, I'm going to work on making part of that sidebar and come up with another sidebar as well but look forward to advice, thoughts, and the like. Thanks in advance...

one idea would be take alot of AI in one group and alot of AT in the other

I've done a bit of work trying to get my lists built up but could use a bit of help. Here is what I have...

1250 point main list...

2 sets of 4 Kabalite Trueborn all with blaster upgrades = 108 each
=216 pts ... still 34 points short

Sidebar 2 (AI)...
1 set of 4 Kabalite Trueborn w/ 2 Splinter Cannon upgrades = 68 (considering adding a third member and upgrading to Shardcarbines despite shorter range for the extra 5 points per)
1 set of 4 Incubi, 1 being a Klaivex with Demiklaives and Bloodstone = 138
=206 pts ... still 44 points short




Thoughts on what I have already and what changes could be made to improve things ... as well as where else to spend points ... is very welcome...
