I really think Games Workshop is back on form with this release, some fantastic sculpts and kits there. I'll bore you all with a quick run through of my opinion...

Ravenwing Black Knights - As you'd expect, take their cue from the new ones in the starter set. Bike mounted twin-linked plasma guns...
Belial - A bit static, a bit boring and obvious.
Landspeeder Vengeance - The internet seems to hate it, maybe you will too, I actually really like it. It's so different to everything else.
Flyers - Fantastic, what the Stormtalon should've/could've been.
Deathwing Command Squad - Nothing outstanding here but really good nonetheless.
Deathwing Knights - Possibly the standout kit in this release, really nice.
Ravenwing Command Squad - Fantastic.
Asmodai - Not a good enough angle to judge.

Without words. The design team has done a spectacular job.

It's nice to see the DA finally getting some love. It's a shame that I am not overly enamoured by all of the models. My thoughts:

Black Knights = Awesome!

Belial = Meh. They could have tried harder with this model, in my opinion. He is standing for a photo, not to cut open a greenskin or hunt the fallen.

Landspeeder Vengeance = It looks like it should be in the sororitas. I think that it would be cool for the Sisters, but for the Dark Angels it just seems a bit over the top.

Flyers = Far better than the Stormpotato. These are quite cool models, in my opinion. I can't wait to see how easily they shred apart my flyers!

Deathwing Command Squad = What I was expecting. I like this kit.

Deathwing Knights = They look cool... for Black Templars. I think that they have gone far too far with this kit, to me they look out of place. I am really not a fan of them.

Ravenwing Command Squad = Wow. These are some really cool models. I've always liked the Ravenwing, and these have fortified my love for them.

Asmodai = Yay! Asmodai! He looks cool in that shot but I'd like to see the model before I make an actual opinion.

Not a fan of DA but the models are beautiful. Whatever I may think of GW as a company they do make gorgeous toy soldiers!

The aesthetic of DA has never appealed to me at all, but these are very nice models.

The Landspeeder looks too cobbled together, though, like someone glued some jump packs onto the side of the fuselage. The shrine-thing in the back is OTT, while the front gunner just doesn't work. It doesn't look practical, even for an an imaginary sci-fi vehicle.

The flyer looks good, kind of interesting that it is not dissimilar to the old pattern FW Lightning, which in turn is being replaced next month by the new Voss pattern one:

From the new models, I like Ravenwing command squad the most. Beakies everywhere, and the sculpts are amazing! The new Deathwing models are pretty neat as well. I rather like the new flyer, even though it's still a bit too compact for my tastes (though it might just be because a space marine is sitting in it instead of a regular dude). The land speeder is... weird. But, I'll reserve my final judgment before I see the model. Many of the recent GW kits that have been surrounded with murmurs of dislike actually look pretty darn good when seen in person.

Also, Jeremy Vetock apparently is the author for this one (as he winked and nudged in the October White Dwarf). Let's hope he gets things right for his first 40k book!

It looks proper good in my opinion, but then again I'm one of the guys who likes pretty much all minis. Especially a big fan of the new land speeders.

My only problem with all of it, is it looks like the new flyers will be the first non FW/apocalypse with a Vulcan bolter. That's some proper nasty stuff!

the other landspeeder pic where it has 2 giant plasma cannons on the back instead of the shrine make it look a lot better in my opinion but i still really like the shrine as well.

and for those who dont know a mate and i are doing half the chapter each and SQUEEE this looks amazing!!

Ravenwing Black Knights - Love the Hammers, going to steal them for my raven guard
Belial - the next meme model... he is just so bad
Landspeeder Vengeance - Ill reserve judgement until I see the model... but its reminds me of a tau hammerhead
Flyers - Its a storm talon with wings.... yea???
Deathwing Command Squad/ Deathwing Knights - I am stealing those shields... but Cavash is right, they are totally black templar looking
Asmodai - Meh... another "Im going to hit you with my stick" poses

I have to say im not impressed bopefully that will change

They seem to be making Dark Angels into the new Black Templar. As if Grey Knights didn't do that enough!

Seeing the Deathwing Knights makes me sad, Black Templar better get nasty mounts for their knights to ride... Oh wait that's what Thunder wolf cavalery are... sigh.

Well, here they are. Overall, I am not impressed with these models at all, with the exception of the vanilla flyer.

The Flyer is really good compared to the Stormpotato and other SM flyers.
I still don't like Belial. Silly model.

The Deathwing Banner amuses me, the fact a naked man hasn't raised any complaints is funny. What scares me is that Juan Diaz did Belial and like Valkia, the pose destroys the model for me (well Valkia has more issues).

Though I do rather like the Ravenwing side of the models, though I am having flashes of Sisters of Battle with the Darkshroud / Dark Talon shrines.

Also, anyone else notice that the Deathwing Termi with Power Sword and Asmodai poses look like the Dark Vengeance Chaos Lord and Dark Angels Librarian.

I think the new models look fantastic (except for that aweful Belial and pimped out Land Speeder). The flyers actually look as though they can fly, the Deathwing command models and Knights look great, and the Ravenwing stuff finally looks unique. I plan to see lots of Deathwing and Ravenwing armies at my LFGS

I don't hate these, but they really feel like a swing and a miss. They are somehow so... generic. The grey knights, at least, feel really atmospheric, and have a real identity, whereas these seem a little, I guess, 'fetishistic'. There's no depth to the characterisation. They're like normal marines with a bunch of weird crap added. There's a kind of disconnect between the 'weird crap' and the 'normal marine' stuff. It's sort of like when GW's solution to the Empire in WFB was "MOARRR SKULLLZZZ!!!"

Not inspired at all. Which is a shame, because DA are my absolute most favouritest SM chapter.

Thank god I dont like any of the Marine teams. Because this just looked crap imo... But again as I started saying I think all the chapters does.

And for me the worst of the lost was the derpspeeder... by all that is hoy that looks so... very very bad... Anyway I hope the people who play DA or have wanted to love the models, not really imporatant if I do since I wouldnt play them anyway

I quite like most of the models. I just wish they could decide what bloody colour the First Legion wants to be! Looking at the army pics in the latest White Dwarf you've got black Ravenwing, bone Deathwing and green everything else. Make up your minds!!
