| I've had great success lately after following tac advise here with Baron and 11 other Hellions (I have the old metal figs from 3rd Ed). They're my favorite figs in DE, both old AND new. So, I got 2 boxes of new hellion figs. My 1st question is, if I have the Baron is it just his unit of Hellions that are troops instead of fast attack, or are ALL Hellion squads considered troops choices? By me getting 2 more boxes of new figs, I now have 22 Hellions total (1 is a Baron conversion). Would you recommend they be split into 2 units (or more), or kept as 1 big "death star" unit? Personally, I'd like to try them in 1 big unit, just to see what happens. But my old "military lifer logic" says split them up if all Hellions are troops when the Baron is present. | |

| All Hellions are troop choice if Sathonyx is one your HQ choice. Good question. Personally I want to try a big 20+2 Unit (Sathonyx and Eldar Farseer with Rulebook "magic"). | |

| 1. All hellions are troops
2. I would stick with one unit, as then your get the most out of what baron brings to the table.
if you really want more than one squad, do multiples of 10, as then they arent much of a point sink, and are basically mobile fire support for your main squad, and can assist with assaults if need be | |

| I was considering keeping the Baron with 11 Hellions as 1 squad and my other new 10 as another, taking up 2 troops choices. But a 22 Hellion sized unit sounds fun....and "fluffy" for myself. As far as a Farseer in the unit goes, I don't know how thats possible, since he is not on a skyboard. I have zero regular Eldar models yet as "battle brothers". As many know here, I'm back this edition since not having done 40K since 3rd edition! Back then, being allies with regular Eldar was unheard of and I'm STILL trying to get used to the idea.....LOL. | |

| The farseer has a jetbike and casts reroll to hit on the unit. One of the many advantages of the 6th edition is that a unit just needs one model with "hit-and-run". The whole unit can use it, even with an attached farseer (or witch from dark bottoms of commorragh). One of the reasons why Sathonyx often goes together with warbeasts. | |

| Have you considered popping a large Hellion blob out of a WWP? Could make a nasty suprise to your opponents. | |

| Sorry I was away a week on this discussion. I'm not too thrilled about using webway portals this edition. I tried it my first 2 games in 6th and failed miserably with that tactic. I lost every model to shooting after they came on. I'd enjoy learning of any success anyone has had doing a big hellion group out of a webway. | |

| You could try deep striking a huge unit with baron and farseer on jetbike! Fatseer has a lot more than just reroll to wound now too! Divination table he rolls on for his powers are awesome! | |
