NOVA (labor day weekend)

Is anyone going to NOVA this year? I'm bringing my dark kin, but I am only going to be playing in the narrative event. There are GTs everywhere, but I've never heard of anything quite like their narrative. It seems like a blast! I'd love to enjoy a beverage or three with any Commorragh residents if any of you are going!

What are the dates? Are they doing Warmahordes this year? How much is entry? Etc.

Registration opens on the 1st. In addition to entry fees, apparently, if you get in early enough and are interested, for $80 you can buy a VIP package that includes a free KR backpack or strappy carrying case plus a bunch of other stuff, and then you get free cases every subsequent year you go to NOVA (no additional fee for the additional years' cases).

I don't work for NOVA or anything, just thought I'd pass that info along. Mike, one of the organizers, dropped into another forum for a local club, and has been really cool and helpful. Which, of course, makes me even more excited to go, and more into helping to promote the event.

I'll likely attend with my game club. Not a big hurry to register, as far as I know.

I would love to go to this but sadly I live on the other side of a big pond.

I normally go, sadly last year I had to cancel due to other issues. This year though it seems I might be going, but just as a spectator for a friend who wants to participate, or as a judge (I know mike from other conventions) If I do head down though, Ill buy any TDC members a round or two

Glad I convinced ya. I plan to make it my birthday present to myself to finally make a NOVA and since its only a week after it you all can buy me an extra round lol.

Some friends and I have been talking about saving up and hitting NOVA one year, might see you all in 2015

A triple dark eldar team from The dark city forum for the triplet tourney they have, would be cool?

Me and a few guys have been talking about going over, but not set in stone yet. (its a few hours to get there for me )

Or two DE plus one CWE would be pretty awesome. I would love to join that team, but it conflicts with the narrative. Boo.

Oh I didn't check the schedule, I've been tempted to do the narrative because I've heard so many good things about it, when I went to Nova 2 years ago I did just the GT with 7 of my buds! I have never played a 3 on 3 and from what I've heard there are a lot of participants for that too, so if anyone would like to join a 3 man team let me know I would be totally interested, and a craft world and dark eldar mix would definitely be cool!

I will certainly be there but I don't game in tourneys. I'll be there for the painting competition and take a few classes. Of course I'd be down to watch some awesome DE action on the table.
