This is a 1850 list that I am debating on trying out.
do you guys think this army is Competitive? kind of Meh!?! crappy?
I would love to see what you guys think. What do you think I should change if anything.
So constructive c&c would be great.

also what should I drop/change to make this list 1750? wyches? warriors? trueborn ect...


Baron (he's a boss and he makes my beasts awesome)

3 Trueborn w/ 2 Scannons
Venom w/ 2 Scannons.


10 warriors w/ Scannon, blaster.
Raider w/ lance and Sracks. ( I am on the fence with racks as I don't usually like keeping my units in the raiders as vehicle explodes results kill half of the unit. and stunned/shaken make them snapfire.) (also the units in the Raider are a very tempting target and the opponent is getting two birds with one stone). so I tend to drop the unit off right aways or start them out of the raider. should I keep the racks or drop them for more points? and what to do with the extra points?)

10 warriors w/ Scannon, blaster.
Raider w/ lance and Sracks

5 warriors w/ nakedness
Venom w/ 2 Scannons and trophies

(warriors reserver to keep them safe and for objective grabbing in my end), venom deploys to shoot stuff and to allow other units (usually beasts) to re-roll faild LD tests. )

5 Wyches w/ haywire grenades
Venom w/ 2 Scannons.
(normally for some tanks hunting, but also for small speed bump/tar pits when required)

5 Wyches w/ haywire grenades
Venom w/ 2 Scannons.


Beastpack w/ 5 masters, 8 hounds, 6 flocks, (lots of wounds, fast, stealth/grenades (baron), rending)

9 reavers w/ 3 blasters and champ with Vblade (inspired by Mushkilla) unit usually reserves and supports/threatens the army where needed) plus blade attack weakened enemy units for easy pain token.

Ravanger w/ 3 dl's

Ravanger w/ 3 dl's

Void bomber w/ 2 shatterfield missles and ff. (for AA and some solid AI when required) the VB has worked wonders for me. I usually run two.


Anyways this is the army.
what do you guys think?

Really like that list.
As I wrote in my othr post, im not sure with the bomber, bit Im sure its a nice thing to have.
And cant really tell how the gunboats will work, because I used to use venoms only, but I thik youll have enough pressure midfield to keep the raiders alive and well while moving into position.

I like the Venom with trophies. Its some kind of low priority target which is still a huge boost to your other units, e.g. your beastpack.

Ive been thinking about going all ballsy with vect into a beastunit, because he provides fearless and can use the unit as a nice bridge once they charged to pull him closer to the enemy.

I wouldn't put any other character in the unit other than the baron. Vect would slow the unit down way too much. Plays for vects points you could easily get another unit or beast pack.

The bomber is worth it to me. St9 lances. St 7 missiles for light armour and horde control. The bomb can also be nice once in a while.

I also tend to just run warriors in venoms. But I am going to give gunboats another try. If I don't like them than I will drop them for 3 units in venoms.. that'll give me some left over points as well.

I have an older post which is on page 3 of this forum if mtcdark eldar/eldar army.
That army has been amazing so far.

i know mirror units keeps our heads in a happy place, but since your raiders have racks wouldn't it be better to drop a blaster on one of them and give it to the venom warriors?

I thought that before. but since my little 5 man unit is always in reserve I find that the blaster fits better with the raider squad as I can use it right away.
