| lol soo cool, this is gonna be a very cool army in a couple of months/years (if you continue to add more coool stuff. This model is so well done, I think I'm gonna have to end up buying it myself. - Creeping Dementia wrote:
- As for the weapons, side by side the GW wyche stuff seems much less elegant...more clunky than the Blood Vestal weapons and hands. The only exception is the GW hydra gauntlets, I do like those better.
The weapons, I don't know, they look ok, I have trouble picking either of these, don't like the wych weapons from any of these 2 ranges, I prefer the old shardnet and impaler, weirdly enough it had more details. The guns, prefer the GW ones, as for the other weapons, they're so similar, no point in picking any over the other. What seems off to me, the ass and legs of the vestals seem a little bit too big. I don't have the models, but it's just my impression from the pictures. Now the long vs short hair, it's a question of choice, but the GW ones have so many alternatives with all the kits containing wych heads and some of the haircuts are quite sophisticated. Hair on the vestal is simple. The armor and suit, I'm a pervert, openly admit it, I love the vestals more. Not sure which armor is better, they're both similar dark elf concepts. Now again, don't have the models, I should look at them closer, look at the details. The proportions for example. The current wyches are good, but not 100% perfect, a perfectionist will notice the few mistakes, I'm wondering how well these vestals are, only way to know would be if I had them...

| Wyches are finally done! The month of July nearly killed me in school (Pharmacology in Med school is rough...), but now that its over I managed to finish 10 wyches. For this unit I was really trying to improve my technique of skin tone and faces. Looking back on some of my previous stuff the skin seemed too flat. So to move it up to the next level I consulted some YouTube videos and moved up to Vallejo paints (which I'm really liking). I think the skin and faces on these are quite a bit better than my past stuff, let me know what you all think. The next thing for my DE will be a Raider, but there are several things for IG and Marines I'm working on first. So it might be a while for more DE stuff to pop up. Gotta start practicing my Non-metallic metal and blending skills. Thanks in advance for any comments. | |

| Nice looking dunmers ! ^^
The color scheme is strange, but it fits well. I also like their basing.
