Hey all,
So this week I am having a friendly round robin tournament with some friends. They are playing: Grey Knights, Necrons and Chaos (or maybe Orks).
I've pulled together two potential lists, and am interested in your thoughts on which to use (and potential alterations to both if you have ideas and/or critique!.
The first list I pulled from a post Mushkilla had made about a battle he fought against 3 helldrakes:
Archon: Blaster, Venom Blade (had 5 points to spare so why not
), Shadowfield
4 Blasterborn in a Venom (I would have done a raider, but i only have 2 and they're deployed below)
10 Warriors + Splintercannon+blaster in a Raider w. Nightshields
10 Warriors + splintercannon+ blaster in a Raider w. Nightshields
5 wyches, haywire grenades, in a venom
5 warriors, Blaster in a Venom
6 Reavers, 2 blasters
6 Reavers, 2 blasters
Ravager, Night shields, retrofire jets (for deepstriking alternatives depending on terrain and deployment)
Ravager, Night shields, advanced aethersails
My plan is to deploy the two warrior squads outside the raiders similar to Mushkilla's tactics in his battle report.
Plan B is a variation of the above. The difference was to give myself some psychic alternatives by adding a farseer as folllows:

5 Reavers, 1 blaster + farseer on a jetbike. Kitted out with 2 psychic abilities.
3 guardian jetbike (was the cheapest troop choice to bring the farseer in. plan to hold them in reserve for late game objective stealing)

So had to drop a squad of warriors in a venom. Dropped the blasters from the warrior squads (which i wasn't sure i'd get full use of anyway) and (here's the sucky part) droped one reaver plus a blaster to bring to a sub-optimal 5 (but i only had enough models for 15 bikes in total anyway, so this works out for table top purposes).
So my concerns are as follows:
1. Neither list has anti-flyer (or flyers of their own). I'm trusting in Mush on this one that i can still make it work!!! LOL.
2. For the second list, I am just feeling that perhaps I have had to give up too much for the psychic options. That said, it is nice to have the Runes against the grey knight player on the psychic tests he'll be making.
