This is a list for a 1750 game that I will be playing tomorrow night.
what do you guys think? any minor changes that I could make for a better list?
here it is
Baron (with the beasts)
10 Warrios w/ Cannon
Raider w/ dark lance and Toument launcher (to help break units)
10 Warriors w/ Cannon
Raider w/ dark lance
5 Warrios w/ nothing
Venom w/ 2 cannons and gruesome talisman.( to keep the beasts from running and warriors.)
5 Warriors w/ blaster
Venom w/ 2 cannons
5 Warriors w/ blaster
Venom w/ 2 cannons
Beastpack w/ 5 beastmasters, 8 hounds and 6 razer flocks
6 reaver jetbikes w/ 2 blasters
6 reaver jetbikes w/ 2 blasters
Ravanger w/ 3 dark lances
Ravanger w/ 3 dark lances
Void raven bomber w/ 2 shattershard bombs, flickerfield
1750 on the dot.
brief run down of what this list works (is supposed to work)
10man warriors units might deploy up field and jump out into better firing positions in from their raiders. I don't take splinter racks, because I don't like half+ of my units dying and taking a pin/ld test.
the venoms will prob run empty to make less tempting targets and nuke infintry. small warrior units might reserve, but I will deploy the Venoms.
The beast packs in there to punch face and take fire aways from the rest of my force. if they kill anything then that is a bonus. I always get the bonus
reavers reserve and turbo on and blade infintry units for the easy pain token and to support my lines where needed. blaster are there for AT if required.
Ravangers kill tanks obviously
Bomber's primary rolls is AT. when it flies on it can put on the pressure where it is needed the most. whether it is popping a vehicle of nuking infintry.
should I drop 1 venom units for haywire wyches in a venom? do I really need that?
what do you think?
