| So, following on the flyers-for-all trend, are we now seeing the giant-walker/MC-for-all trend? First the Dreadknight and Riptide, and now the Wraith Knight. Surely Orks will get the Stompa into 40K or a plastic mega-Deff Dread, and you just know there's an über-smurf in someone else's 6th edition future.
So what might we get with a new 6th edition 'dex, if anything? This is complete conjecture at this point in time, but could be fun. A giant Grot, or is that not shooty enough? A giant fiend for the Beastmasters amongst us?
Or a massive pain engine construct? That would be awesome!

| Nah... We'll get a large skimmer that deep strikes in the first turn, has a built in WWP, can be used to modify our reserve rolls, has torment grenade launchers, grisly trophies, splinter racks, and a spirit vortex built in. They'll call it the Terror Gate, the Doorway of Doom, or some such. Ok, the names are a bit of a joke, but I really would like a large skimmer with a built in WWP that deep strikes first turn. The spirit vortex would be nice too. | |

| I'd be happy to finally just get a freaking Void Raven already I honestly asked myself this yesterday and came to the conclusion that big-mega-holy-cow units wouldn't really fit with our whole modus operandi. How would you shove a Wraithknight-sized thing out of a WWP? | |

| Had this discussion with my boyfriend yesterday ironically He's of mind that we have 'ours' already via either the 'Tantulus' or the 'Dias of Destruction'.... I for one would just like our Voidraven and the damned Characters* done for every religious icon under the sun =/ * Bonus if we get any Bloodbride/Trueborn/(Ancient) Haemonculi models Though if we did, I would say Coven Engine just seems like a seriously wonderful idea! Something that must house Multiple Liquifier's and have more combat weapon arms then an entire Cult ;O | |

| To give us a form of deep strike in turn 1 would make too much sense. GW will never do it. | |

| I went to a seminar with Phil Kelly and Jes Goodwin last year and when asked what else they'd do for dark eldar given the chance, PK said bigger coven creatures, JG decided on a double decked raider (hopefully with void lances!). Personally I'd prefer the raider option. | |

| Personally I'd love to see a bigger pain engine. Suits the fluff just fine, as Path of the Incubus describes smaller pain engines Cho en Vhi. So, why not larger engines? | |

| While a big pain engine makes sense, I would cheerfully skip it for an air superiority fighter, or any other number of possible things (Dominion-esque Kabalites, Land Speeder-esque gunboats with Disintegrators, Darklight snipers, Kabalite jetbikes for those who like shooty) which would seem more likely to aid maneuverability. | |

| Maybe they can give the giant pain engine Intercept and Skyfire. Now that would be a most welcome addition! | |

| A big pain engine sounds nasty, but different kinds of vehicles could be good. Maybe those voidlances in a fast skimmer would be nice? ...or, something very drastic. A vehicle that IS NOT A SKIMMER, OR A FLYER. | |

| A big pain engine is all that makes sense. Fliers arent going to fit the pattern. A plastic tantalus would be nice however, especialy one with target locks and 4 dissie/lance turrets rather two two super dizzies. But remember, DEldar are death from a thousand cuts, not one concentrated megadeath of doom.
A 32 gun frigate might look cool, but I doubt it would work for us.

| I always thought a large walker, akin the to the War Walker would be really cool. Something that could stalk through terrain with a bunch of dark lances... | |

| I would love to see a bigger grot-style creature, maybe like something out of gears of war. Imagine a huge grot stomping across the field and we could make it shooty with a huge gun/missile launcher stapped on its back, so similar to a squiggoth but better This huge gun could also be used to SkyFire to deal with anti-air Thats what I would hope for anyway | |

| I'd like to see something explicitly for capturing/transporting slaves - imagine the fun of snagging your opponent's favoured troops for the arena. | |

| an interesting option would be a FMC pain engine thing. Since there are rumors of these "suppliment" books, this will give Coven some AA capacity. It would be interesting to see them get some sort of Helldrake like thing with wounds. | |
