| Hey guys,
Looking for some new fun tactics to try out against my favourite opponent who plays grey knights. I have used a lot of the standard kits of venoms with blaster kabalites/ haywire wyches etc. and have certainly had some success there.
I tried Grots last time, and they did "ok". But my concern with them is that getting into melee with all those force weapons on the board means my multiple wound grots still die quickly.
Tried beaststars too, but he generally takes lots of flamers to wreck havoc on my reavers and beasts by denying cover saves (and the STR 6 incinerators mean instand death to my multiple wound razorwing flocks too.
So any other creative and interesting things to try?

| I've had good results against GK by staying at range and peppering them with splinter and Dark Lance shots. Try to target their mobile elements first then out manoeuvre them. Most of the time I still get fairly hammered by them, but win on objectives due to the GK's low numbers. | |

| i like to stay at range with night shields and watch the entire GK army run for 2/3 turns just to get into range lol then have only too few models left to do anything. its hilarious to watch em fumble around. watch out for teleporters tho | |

| The best advice is probably to give them the poison pokes at a distance. If they took halberds they will murder your incubi before they can hit back, and they'll still strike at the same time as your wychs. Just shoot'em, shoot'em lots. | |

| The others said it all really. Abuse the short range of the GK in general (24") and the low model count (by claiming/contesting objectives in turns 4/5). Dance around him with our mobility.
The only thing I can add is that if you can't tailor your list (so you don't exactly know what your GK opponent is bringing) you have to be able to:
Get his 'rare' long range stuff asap. Like Psyfledreads. Take them out with Dark Lances from Ravagers first.
Go MSU to negate the effect of the teleporters and the shunt moves. He'll get 1 of your small squads. But he can't get them all. And you'll pepper him with poison your next turn.
