Hi all! Blank here with a new predicament.
With the release of the new Eldar line of models and Codex update, I found an excuse to buy my allied detachment. As my HQ choice, I am taking the Avatar of Khaine. My issue is, while I am not too concerned with fluff, but I like to keep things copesetic. So, I am thinking about Dark Eldar-ing my Avatar and Jetbikes, but if that's "fluffily" unacceptable I won't do it.
What do you think?

| The jetbikes are exactly the same, except for weapons and decorations, if you look for the last eldar jetbike prototype, you'll see that's it's core is the same as our reaver jetbikes, I have no clue why GW refused to release that kit as the new eldar jetbike, for dark eldar it was fine...
AS for the avatar, what people don't get, dark eldar also worship him, incubi are known to have a statue of him in their temple. The eldar avatar of khain remains unchanged, no spikes or anything, he's always the same god.

I don't think they worship him as much as venerate him. The Incubi do have massive statues of him, and yes, they might worship him, but the rest of DE society does not.

| As Khain Mor says, it wouldn't look any different. | |

I don't think they worship him as much as venerate him. The Incubi do have massive statues of him, and yes, they might worship him, but the rest of DE society does not. Well, the codex in page 6 says that Khaine is held in high regard in Commorragh. This implies veneration as well as worship. I'd say his worship would be about as common as that of the Dark Muses - not everyone in Commorragh worships them, but there are plenty of those that do. Dark Eldar, from the impression I got from Chambers' books, are rather easy to be swayed to worship, if they actually see the benefits. After all, anything that can give them an edge in survival is a win in their books, and since Chaos deities are a no-no, there's always that bloody handed, fire-blooded god of murder of old, and he doesn't trigger Vect's kill squads running after you. Of course, I do speak this way since my corsair fleet has Khaine worship written all over it...

| I see where you are coming from, Siticus, but I disagree with the implication. Being held in high regard and veneration are one thing, to be worshipped is something else. I can see how there could be factions and cults that would easily align to Khaine's worship as he was not weak enough to truly be defeated by Slaanesh.
I'm didn't mean to sound as if I was saying 'No, none of them worship him', which I can see why it would look like that now, I was just disagreeing more with the "AS for the avatar, what people don't get, dark eldar also worship him," part of what Khain Mor said. To me that sounded like it was a race-wide statement.
