I nearly got away with calling my kittens Luke and Leia on the grounds that the wife has never seen Star Wars. I was foiled by the proposed 2 kittens being joined by their mother and I didn't fancy adding Padme to the list.

a bit off topic, but talking of weird cool names, I had a budgy called Rapist, was because of the fact that he assault all other budgies, males or females. This dude was one of a kind, he stayed alive for 17 years, he lived longer than any of the dogs I've owned so far.
