1850 All Comers

I really have problems deciding on a list- and now after some dice rolling and re-organizing:

Archon (VB, SF, CD)- 105

Blasterborn (x4, Venom with 2x SC)- 173
Blasterborn (x4, Venom with 2x SC)- 173
Splinterborn (x3, 2x SC, Venom with 2x SC)- 121

Gunboat Warriors (x10, SC, Raider with DC)- 170
Gunboat Warriors (x10, SC, Raider with DC)- 170
Archon's Wyches (x9, HG, Hekatrix w/AG, PGL, Raider with DC)- 200

Reavers (x6, 2x CC, 2x HL)- 196
Reavers (x6, 2x CC, 2x HL)- 196

Ravager (x3 DL, NS)- 115
Ravager (x3 DL, NS)- 115
Ravager (x3 DL, NS)- 115

How would this list fare in terms of survivability, objective control and damage (both alpha strike and overtime)?

you need more troops. I would drop the splinterborn and get a warrior venom squad (get the extra 5 pts from the combat drugs on the Archon. He really doesnt need them with a venomblade)

I think i can have that as an option- got enough hangers on from the vehicle sprues to make extra infantry.... (evil laugh)

I did the math hammer and it does suggest Splinterborn do win in the points efficiency department (killed 4 marines in a single round of shooting from "36, so around 72 points killed for 121 spent)

But a 5 man in a venom, whilst it only killed two, the ability to score is worth a lot too... (especially with 5/6 games involving scoring, and each objective is worth 3 VPs). If I'm running a venom 5 man, it will be going without the blaster.

As for the Archon with the combat drugs, its way too handy not to buy. Re-rolls to failed wounds (i roll lots of 1s- sign that i should be playing a coven list), or giving an extra attack or making the wyches very survivable and killy on the charge.
