My All Comers List (1850)

Trying to get some critiques. None of my friends play DE and rarely have good advice so I wanted to run it by other players who actually have knowledge of the army.

I'm trying to run it as a rather versatile list. The Wyches will hopefully be there for tank popping, and objective grabbing. Kabalites will most likely be used for holding objectives and infantry slaughter. The Razorwing is there to draw some fire (Since not many people like leaving a flyer to do as it wishes) and take out as many models as it can. Incubi will be for IC killing with one of the haemonculi. Chronos will most likely be there just for the extra pain tokens and drawing some fire away from the squishier units. Venoms and Raiders will get their squads to the destination then proceed to take out the scarier threats that they can handle. Obviously my course of action heavily depends on my enemies list and formation but that's the general idea. Thank you.

Hi,

Before people start posting critiques of your list it would be really handy to elaborate a bit on how you intend to play it. For example I notice you have a webway portal, what units are you planning on holding in reserve etc?

Although one thing I would note straight off is that I wouldn't take the dark lance in the kabalites, I would take the splinter cannon, that way you are getting the maximum amount of AI firepower. If you take the dark lance then you have AT and AI shooting in the same unit and are forced to choose which you want to use (admittedly the dark lance should kill an infantry model 2 out of every 3 shots but it is still a bit of a waste).

I have edited it so that it is hopefully in a better format, and with better details. I apologize I am new to the forum and am still learning the rules around here. I just need some real advice from other DE players. I have never actually met anyone else who plays my army and never gotten proper advice in the past 2 years. I've done the best I can with what knowledge I had at my disposal. Thank you all so much.

On the list:
Way too many upgrades for my taste. Compare to my 1850 list that include 5 Venom, 3 Ravager, 3x6 bikes, 2 warwalkkers, Warp spiders and then some. De can't handle being fired at so best way is to make every shoot overkill. As a rule of thumb every upgrade is not points spend on another unit or model.

Thank you. Once again, sorry still learning the rules of the forum. I'll try to keep it cleaner next time. I see your point I mean I definitely would like to fit another Venom on there. Where would you suggest cutting some points? I know I probably don't need the Chronos, but I have always had a love for the model and idea of it.

Why the missile Upgrades for the razorwing? And the nightfields on the venoms?
They would give you 40pts to spend otherwise.

The night shields are because I play against a lot of Tau so I have gotten so used to putting them on everything out of shear habit. Missiles I just added but that is a valid point. I cut out a few of the uprgrades so that I could throw in another squad of Trueborn with a venom.

I might have another Suggestion: You do have a lot of AV weapons, so why not change to one or two dissies?
Maybe on the raiders. They are great against heavy infantry. Could be nice against Tau-Battlesuits.

I'm going to hold off on that one just because of the shear amount of vehicles my usual opponents tend to field. But I will keep that in mind for tournaments and the like.

I don't know about tournaments, since I just play for fun, with my friends. But there are not much vehicles here.

Nightshield are good Against tau. You could drop few wyches, 2 haemy, 1 blasterborn. Cronos would serve you better as talos.

I like night shields on anything that can have them, the range reduction (often unexpected or forgotten by your opponent) can be really disruptive to enemy fire planning

True I Could drop the third Haemy to clear up a few points, along with 1 blasterborn from each squad. Does anyone think I should have uprgrades on the 2 Haemies? If so any solid suggestions. I'm thinking one would end up with the wyches, and the other with the Incubi. Also are there any major game threatening flaws that anyone sees other than a few minor tweaks. I understand that with DE a minor tweak can be game changing, but I mean is there anything that just screams stupid or terribad?

Casual gaming no. In tournament you probably would get eaten alive  

My old tourny list used to be almost entirely assault based. Sadly since overwatch is a thing I've been trying to steer away from relying on assault.

Do you have any tournament list ideas that don't involve spamming? I'm not saying that to be rude mind you. It's just every tournament list I tend to see or have recommended to me tends to just spam one type of model. And I really don't want to be that guy.
