Eternal Crusade - The Dark City

What I would like to do is make The Dark City home to Dark Eldar players on the game, there will be an entire section of the forum dedicated to this pursuit and I think it could be awesome.

I think the Eldar faction would be an ideal, obvious starting point until DE are released in an expansion; we could possibly gear them towards a Corsair feel.

There will be competitions to name 'our' kabal (of course who's to say some won't split away and form their own), our colour scheme, insignia and symbols, names of bases and whatnot. I'd like to have leaders for each platform who would lead the kabal on there.

Interested? It's a long way away but I just wanted to let you know what we have planning, I'm excited and will be here with my PS4 whenever it is released.

if they have Eldar, Ill be up for it.

Hopefully down the road they get DE as well... then we can truely set up a Kabal

I'll have to see how advanced the family is by then, but in principle I think I'd be interested, provided I can persuade the wife to let me have a PS4!

I would like to make known my mission.

In ignorance, I had posted a message about this game in the wrong section and perhaps because I wrote it while in character, as I otherwise always do, it was seen as 'Unsanctioned Advertising' and was... sanctioned.

I can only hope that you believe me when I say that I am not employed by any company with a vested interest in this game. Instead, I am a Warhammer 40,000 Dark Eldar fanatic. It is clear to see, however regrettable it is, that the fan base of Dark Eldar is smaller than that of some other races. I therefore fear that we will be left by the wayside when it comes to our race's inclusion in this game.

If we can make ourselves known to those making Eternal Crusade, and bring ourselves to the forefront, our race may be included as DLC sooner than it otherwise would have. I have made it my mission, therefore, to unite all lovers of the Dark Eldar under one banner, not in a community of their own, as this is, but across social media. I have conversed with some of those working on the game. I have also already established a connection between Dark-Eldar.ru and on of the game's social media accounts (Can I tell you which network I use?).

I can see that The Dark City is a huge forum with many members. If both members and an official account of this forum can get involved, I am sure we can be greatly influential on the development of this game!

If anyone is interested, I would be very happy to provide more details!

Not to be totally a nay-sayer, but GW is trying this again?!?!? I wonder what they're doing different from the WFB one they just shut down. I love the idea but MM0s are so dicey now.

There is now a dedicated forum for the game that can now be viewed at forum.eternalcrusade.com which is looking very good and has lots of information on the game.

I am very curious on how they are going to execute Eternal Crusade but what I have seen looks to be very interesting and I am quite looking forward to seeing if they do include Dark Eldar on the roster of races.

There are only four starter races: Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Orks and Eldar with Tyranids being the AI and common enemy.

I'll be starting with Eldar as they are obviously the closest thing to DE (being our cousins and all).

If it is a success then I am sure more, if not all races will be added eventually.

I would be interested when the time comes, though my gaming system is a PC; also I hope the game isn't related with EA, the company did the Warhammer Age of Reckoning MMO, they auto charged me many time after I last played and I fought them on every occasion and won so they banned my account, found this out when I bought Titanfalls, had to return the game as I couldn't even play it, EA's customer service is so bad I didn't even get a reply.

Is there still going to be a guild for us? Because I went ahead and joined another eldar guild already ^^

Sorry, but I'm being an Ork or a Night Lord. Sure, I love Eldar of all variety, but I like being big and green.

I may have thrown my lot into a Founder pack already, for now I've got an Eldar in the works - I'd like to say I'm committing to a concept and class but from what I know of how the game will function Eldar players are probably going to be needing to be willing to switch between the numerous battlefield roles as required.

I may make myself a Chaos marine as well, though I'm torn as to which subfaction, of the four options the game has successfully chosen two of my favourite Legions, one which I'm rather fond of, and the Black Legion which I'm less partial too.

In which case I'll hopefully see people around the respective places, and of course all ones respective digits are crossed in hopes for eventual Dark Eldar.

Did anyone happen to see the livestream for this yesterday? Having successfully missed it I was wondering whether it was worth tracking down?
