Join our Eternal Crusade Eldar Corsair Fleet

Hello everyone,

Today I am launching a new venture on The Dark City.

With Eternal Crusade coming out in 2015 and with a new forum for the game launched I am opening entry to our very own Eldar Corsair Fleet.

My humble plan is to have a 'clan' that is multi-platform (across PS4, Xbox One and PC) with our forum serving as a port. Harbouring close links to Commorragh and playing in a Corsair style, this would give us the closest playstyle and experience to Dark Eldar until (if) they are eventually introduced - serving as a great community project.

What I want is you!


Straight away I am opening up three competitions:

NAMES:

We require a name for the Corsair Fleet with an accompanying acronym; also needed is a name for our port which would also serve as the name of the section of the forum.

COLOUR SCHEME:

We need a colour scheme, as much as your miniatures need an identity, the fleet will need it's uniform.

SYMBOL:

And of course we need a symbol, an image everyone will remember us by....

Name: Sky Serpent
Platform: PS4
Names choices: Unsure on actual name but for the port I am thinking Crimson Harbour.
Colour scheme: Crimson
Symbol: Nothing to add just yet, the symbol will be formed via the name IMHO.

Name: The Red King (worryy if my choices seem biased)
Platform: PS4
Name choices: Red Claw or Crimson Claw (claw could be talon in either) for the fleet and Bleeding Hollow for the port (where so many slaves captured from raids perish daily that the city itself bleeds constantly)
Colour scheme: Crimson or armor and black for the cloth (inverted on vehicles)
Symbol: A planet gripped by red talons (perhaps dripping blood)

Let me know if it's all too emo as I am just a young lad (21) lol

A new thought I have had is that we should choose a Craftworld to affiliate ourselves with. This is because it is looking likely that the game will offer the choice of the four 'main' Craftworlds to start with a choice of colour schemes or skin is unknown just as yet.

If we are to go with a crimson theme then perhaps Saim-Hann is best but this is all up for discussion, suggestions and vote.

I saw your thread at Eternal Crusade. Prompted me to join. I will things on the items you're looking for.

Name: N/A, too early to decide
Platform: PC
Name Choice: Void Serpents
Colour scheme: dark blue and black
Symbol: A stylized serpent glyph should do the trick

As for the allied craftworld, I'd imagine Saim Hann would actually be quite fitting, seeing as how they are quite wild, individualistic, not to mention the serpent motif - the corsairs representing the more secretive and stealthy side of the cosmic serpent.

Name: Something that suggests Commorragh: "Black Heart Reavers"
Platform: PC, the only PS I have is a number 2
Colour scheme: Probably the kabal of Black Heart would work, so green and black?
Symbol: I think I will leave this for others

An allied craftworld, I agree with Siticus above. Saim Hann would work the best.
For colours, I like Ulthwé, though, but it wouldnt really fit.

Name Choice: Blackstar Hornets
Colour scheme: Yellow and Black
Symbol: A stylised glyph of some sort.

Saim Hann, certainly. They're brutal and suit the corsair feel.

Name of Choice: The Void Wraith
Color Scheme: White and black
Symbol: Black flag, a Dark Eldar symbol with crossed weapons behind it (a white dagger and a white splinter rifle)

Craftworld Affiliation: Until announced I would assume Saim-Hann would not be one of the craftworlds. They rely on vehicles, will EC have vehicles at launch. It would be silly to include Saim-Hann if not. I would say Iyanden or Alaitoc. Iyanden accepts corsair fleets. Alaitoc has the most contact with outcasts.

Name of Choice: The Cursed Wind
Colour Scheme: Purple, with a rich blue to compliment it
Symbol: We could work off of something like this:


For Craftworld Allies, I think Il-Kaithe seems like the best choice. They will ally with anyone to purge Chaos.

Is the plan still up?
'Cause I think I may have accidentally promised myself away to a few other nice-looking eldar guilds   
Is still a long time till the game starts though.
