| Those look amazing!
One thing I'd like to know: Why you do not use the decorations on your vehicles? You paint them so nicely but leave almost all of thorns and spikes and passengers away?

| @Vasara: because I am lazy, and that's the truth. As I don't like playing a "monochromatic grey army", my plan was too paint my vehicules as quickly as possible (still need to paint 2 raiders, the converted ravager above, and a razorwing/voidraven). I think I will add the details, trophies and decorations when all will be finished. My main concern at the moment is to get my basic army list painted. | |

| Hey LSK your army is looking fantastic. Though I love the classic evil black/purple DE armies, your paint scheme makes them seem like a more exotic kind of evil. Great work man looking forward to moar. | |

| Two harlequins (painted few weeks ago, before starting the raiders). I stopped painting them (a six harlies unit) due to vehicules priority in my "schedule"... but I'd like to share. These are old school metal ones (because I don't like the new models, excepted the shadowseer which looks great). You will notice that one of them is lefthander while the other one is righthander. Quite rare with the new plastic kits! I would like to convert the swords into Kisses, but I don't know how to make it properly. Which parts should I use? maybe I should look for CW eldar bits? | |

| I've proxied Wyches as Harlequins and said their swords have rending. No reason you could do the same... | |

That's what I do for friendly games, but even I am not a WYSIWIG apostate, I'd like my models to look as close as possible to their real equipment. Sometimes on my scourges, I proxy a haywire blaster with a heat lance, which is not exactly the same, but is quite different from the basic shardcarbine. I tried to find something which "looks like" a HK, but I don't get it. Maybe I should try some "claw type" weapons. But giving them Swords with Rending is not bad for the moment :p

| Oh, very nice reavers and centiped! Looks like your research paid off, the colors are very clean and stunning! You should be proud over these! | |

| Very nice. Please don't chop up those harlies for the sake of GW's latest rule change, and secondly use the side of your brush for edge highlighting; angle the brush about 30 degrees when stroking along the edge. | |

| @darkmark: I did some linings with the angle of the brush but they do not appear very clearly on the picture as the colors are very light and not contrasted enough. Thanks for the advice, I still need some more practice | |

| I really like your colour scheme. Bright Dark Eldar, but very skeletal in their appearance, very intimidating looking. The freehand on the vehicles is great and really pops. Fantastic looking models! | |

| Duke Sliscus... I wanted him with a lot of spikes and poisonous blades so I glued on his back some little bits I found on the reaver jetbikes. His poisoned weapons were painted black & red. I had some doubt. Then I asked myself: Why do I always associate "poison" with "green" ? A liquid poison may be green, red, blue, or purple, or even colorless, it is the chemical properties which make something a poison, not its color . So I kept my black and red swords, and I am ok with them.. see here : black & red poison | |

| Looks really nice. Your colour scheme is very effective. I like the red and black swords and I agree that poison can be any colour although I too usually associate it with green. | |

| Very nice and clean army project. The flawless execution of a simple paint scheme makes all the difference in the world. Sometimes less is more - for my taste at least, and I think it works really well on your models.
Would you mind sharing your "white" recipe that you used on that last guy with the poison blades? I think it looks very good and the only good looking white I can produce uses brown or blue for shading. you seem to have gone with something between brown and grey, at least that's what it looks like on the pictures.

| @spellcheck: Thanks for your comments. After spending time staring at the model on my shelf (and the picture is the same), I think I'll have too re-work the back of Sliscus. To me, it needs more details and highlight, especially the blast pistol and the ammo pouches which are plain black, contrasting too much with the red backpack. I guess painting the blast pistol's gems with red should make it. I should also apply some silver highlights on the metallic parts. @dogmar: it is the same recipe as for the kabalite warriors or raider's hull, and it is brown (maybe the light on the picture is not clear enough). primer: | white | base: | rakarth flesh | shade: | agrax earthshade | base again: | rakarth flesh, where there is too much agrax residue | drybrush: | eldar flesh | wanabee linings: | flayed one flesh |

| That the best old ravager conversion I can remember seeing. Its a great blend of old and new. I would of never thought to use the old reaver jetbike hoods like that. Great work! | |

| I think its great too, I have never been happy with the old raider.
Poisons are any colour.
Acids are clear. (don't get your H2O mixed up with your H2SO4, please)
Where do we get this silly trope that acids are gleefull green??

| Hi all, I've spent a long time without updating my projetc log. Almost one year. By the way, I played a lot of games with half painted miniatures, but I guess the iminent codex may have motivated me to get a full painted army. Here are two pictures. Nothing really new, but some vehicules are now under the color scheme (instead of plastic grey / white primer). I concentrated on a tabletop finish rather than detailing all the stuff. Venoms gunner still need to be detailed (the 3 in the back) and the gems on the Razorwing are not finished. The old school ravager conversion (see above) is not on the picture, and a third one is to be painted. Also missing, the five beastmasters which are the next to be painted. Some kabalites and an Archon will follow soon. Incubi and Scourges will be the last. Due to the firepower a deep striking kabalites raider can provide, I may envisage adding one more... later. | |

| A beautiful looking army, LSK, especially all together on the tabletop like this! A lot of effort for a great result, very well done.
