Background.
Namron Darkborn is the Younger of twin sons of the House of
Darkborn, The Darkborn are an ancient line in Trueborn nobility.
Namron Darkborn fell out of favour with trueborn nobility,
his constant need to dwell in the bowls of Commorragh saw him shun the Noble
ways. His need to cavort and fight with the dregs of the Lower city saw
Darkborn an outcast from Trueborn society. Darkborn excelled in his prodigal
ways and soon earned reputation amongst the underworld of Commorragh and soon
had a following. Darkborn and his cohorts soon began plaguing the upper city,
conducting daring raids on trueborn meetings and households. This behaviour
earned him the title he was given by the elder Nobles”The Outcast”.
Darkborns’ hatred for pomp and circumstance fuelled his
attacks on trueborn society, even attacking his own kin. Engaged in a furious
melee with his elder twin Ne’vets after many hours of conflict Ne’vets fell
beaten and bloodied. Darkborn took the broken body of his brother to the lower
parts of the city giving the broken remains to his Haemonculus Allie-Jhe D’Lonra
of the Dark Chalice, who performed wonders of twisted disfiguring surgery
preserving the life of Ne’Vets. The trueborn warrior became the Acothyst of the
Haemonculus’ Wrack force thus joining Darkborns followers.
Darkborns’ reputation grew throughout the lower city, his
name forbidden in trueborn society began to grow in legend amongst the younger
power hungry trueborn kin. He soon found
himself a following in trueborn society. Namron D’Yyungre an ambitious
Youngling soon found himself in favour of Darkborn, fighting and murdering his
way to the top of the trueborn pack of which he resided. Darkborn had D’Yyunger
sit in the court of Nobility helping darkborn take a secret foot hold in
trueborn standings having D’Yyunger influence Druchii politics.
Darkborns following grew large and soon a kabal was formed
in the lower city, made up of trueborn units and half born warriors and a mix of abhorant creatures and allied cults and covens. It was
during one especially violent raid into the upper city that D’Yyungre heard the
words that was to name Darkborns’ rabble. Once Darkborn and his cohorts had
plundered the city D’Yyunger heard an Elder Noble scream in hatered “Go back to
the Vile Darkness whence you came”. D’Yyungre and Darkborn were heard laughing
over the words and the words soon spread amongst the follower and denizens of
the under City. Giving birth to “The Kabal of The Vile Darkness”.
D’Yyungres’ influence in trueborn society saw him sitting at
the table of the House of Darkborn where he persuaded Darkborns elders to give
Namron a seat back in the house of Darkborn. Where Darkborn and D’Yyungre sit
and hold court, although still returning to the Underworld where the Kabal
still holds court.
Many years have passed and Namron Darkborn has growing
influence in Druchii society. Some say he is allowed a seat at court because as
it is beneficial for the Trueborn Nobles to keep Darkborn on a leash rather
than have him decimate the nobility.
But For How long?
