| Hi! First time poster long time reader (Well as long as the site's been running ). Just wanted to post some pics of my Dark Eldar army that im working on. Using the Micro art studios "Chaos bases" and think they match the colour scheme realy well even thought they have the Chaos markings but they luckily dont realy show that well. Still loads of small details left to do on most of it and a whole bunch of guys being primed. Blue wych squad with transport. Green wych squad with transport. Wych and Kabal Warriors and transports. Kabal Warriors with transport. Incubi with Venom. Beastpack. Any feedback is appreciated! Chrno | |

| Great army Chrno! I really like your colour scheme and your painting is very clean and crisp. They look terrific all together.
Those bases are pretty nice, too. Keep us updated.

| Hello!
Great first post. While most of Your stuff already looks better than 90% armies that I've seen recently IMHO most impressive thing is... how you've manage to mix "hot" and "cold" colours on one miniature. It's kinda hard to do this right. Also, slave girls ftw.

| I have a feeling a wash may have been used to help get the quality (not being mean here, it is quite well done).
Personally, I think there's a way to get the birds colored to match your army as from the pictures they seem to just be black with a slight gloss applied (either that, or it was the camera flash).
Did you use bleached bone for the white of the sails?

Chaos Black followed by Mechrite Red, then wash Badab Black. Continue with a drybrush of Blazing Orange and then Iyanden Darksun, wash this with Baal Red and you got yourself an amazing darkred to light orange fade. - Sedarofe wrote:

Did you use bleached bone for the white of the sails? They are actualy alot more darkgrey then they appear in the photo, wich gives them a raven-feeling to them. And yes the sails are Bleached Bone. And thanks again for the positive feedback, always provokes the urge to get more painting done! Chrno

| Really nice painting scheme and when you talked about the bases, I didnt realise there where Chaos Markings ... I really think you put alot of effort in the Incubi because they look incredible. Your Beast Pack looks really terrifying with the dark Commorragh theme | |

| Really like that Talos.
Also, am always happy to see anyone moving away from that black + extreme highlight look.

| Definitely off to a good start.
I like the way you have used the bases. I was looking at those myself and they look quite good the way you have them.

No no conversion was needed for the tentacle legs on Talos, just use the Chronos legs instead of the Talos buttom. Chrno
