Vect 1750 for tourney's

Ok, first cut of a list for next years tourney circuit... need some feedback!!

Vect (Duh! )
Haemonculus with liquifier

8 Wyches, shardnet, haywires, hekatrix with venom blade, raider with flickerfield
5 warriors, blaster, venom with 2 splinter cannons
5 warriors, blaster, venom with 2 splinter cannons
5 warriors, blaster, raider with flickerfield
5 warriors, blaster, raider with flickerfield

5 Incubi, venom with 2 splinter cannons
5 Incubi, venom with 2 splinter cannons

Ravager with flickerfield
Ravager with flickerfield
Razorwing with flickerfield & splinter cannon

The big question - do i have enough anti tank? I am not so sure... I would really like to keep the incubi but can see they may be the first to go

Simple answer is no, 15 dark light weapons plus haywire grenades is not enough at this level of points. I take 19 dark light weapons plus haywire grenades and sometimes still wish for more.

I don't necessarily agree that the incubi should be first to go. I would be looking at Vect first. For his points I just can't see him being viable in a competitive list, especially as 1 of his powers makes your deployment a bigger issue than it needs to be. Do you set up for stealing first turn or not? What if you do and you fail. If thats what your after, take the Baron a much better option. As a CC monster he's probably up there with the best, but he paints a gigantic target unto whatever unit he joins, presumably the wyches in your list, ensuring they do not make it across the board, and footslogging wyches suck hard.

I'd look at dumping Vect and a unit of incubi and going the tried and tested route of venom blasterborn if it's for a tournament list. Dull, boring and predictable but highly effective and thats what winning tournament lists are all about.

So why go the agoniser if vect will smash them anyway?
