| Interesting purple, how did you do it? I like the looks of it, I would like to see more depths though. Like some shading on weapons and armor, perhaps a little highlight but not too obvious.
Very nice to see more project logs going up here, yours will be a nice addition (even though you're reviving your previous one).
Don't let this one die! | |

| the purple on the regular warriors was 2 layers of glaze i made using vallejo glaze medium, and Jacquard LUMIERE Artist Paint #569 PEARLESCENT VIOLET. (copy pasted the name for people who would like to get the paint) it was available at my local art store, usually made for painting fabric, and other stuff, but works well with minis, though will need to be thinned. for shading the weapons and armour, i am not sure how i would do that. the minis have had washes over them when originally painted.
the gold on the raider was from the vallejo liquid gold range.

| I really like the personal raider, I like how you used parts from the new and old raider, and didn't add those ridiculous pirate sails -I know, I know, they're Aether Sails but still! - | |

| Looks interesting, and shiny! I like the subtle highlights!
About the washing and shading, I'm talking about all the silver weapons. I believe you could put some more detail and depth on them if you washed them with nuln oil or something alike.

| I do like the mixture of old/new school parts! I agree with Faceless about the metal. You could go with a straight wash of Nuln Oil, or a mixture of washes. I use a 1:1:1 mixture of black/purple/brown washes on my metal. Although my color is a bit more on the magenta side, I find that adding brown and purple to the black wash really helps to complement the purple. | |

I confirm, it works great on your army, and the mix with some Dark Elves parts add something original like "scavenger" (no offense) dark eldars.

| i intended the dark elf heads on the warriors to be open face versions of the kabalite helmets. im sure there are warriors that would rather see their prey with their own eyes rather than behind a visor.
The dark eldar have always to me, had a vampiric feel to them.
