Dark Eldar with Black skin

So I'm painting some of my dark eldar and i havent quite gotten to the skin yet. But since I primed them with a black spraypaint, all their skin looks black and i kinda of noticed it and went "hey, wouldnt it be interesting if all my dark eldar had black skin?"

I'm thinking of painting them pretty dark, i might not even put anything over the primer layer other than very light highlights with blue or grey, and then painting their eyes pure white. For added touch I was probably going to put white tattoos on them as well

Do you think it would look interesting (or more importantly, good?) I know it goes against the general fluff of them being paler than a swiss nerd but I would probably be able to write some lore to justify it (eldar that are somewhere in between dark eldar and mandrake, commorites that were exiled to a sunny planet and so their skin got darker, frak you commoragh needs more racial diversity, idk)

Hm... There is this: Drow, that I find to be acceptable. Anything darker would look strange. Especislly with chaos black.

My own wyches are primed black, but it is not a base color you would want to work with when doing skins I believe. I would have painted it either white/grey/bleach/flesh colors, the washed with something dark.

A recipe from Evil Space Elves works eonder, mixing aggrax eatth with druuci violet. But in your case, maybe a mox of something else, nuln oil+ blue wash?

I think black would work, as long as you contrast it on hair/eyes then why not? - very Elric.

I would've thought that changing skin colour was no challenge for a haemonculus!
