first time 1000pt Sliscus list

Hello, I am getting back into the 40k hobby(last time i played was back in fourth edition) and this is my first attempt at a 1000pt DE list, so feel free to rip it apart. i am all about speed and flexibility and made this army list with that in mind.
Heres what ive got:

HQ: Duke Sliscus

Elites:
(9)Kabalite Trueborn:2x splinter cannons.  128pts
Raider:nightshields/splinter racks.  80pts (Duke goes here w/trueborn)

Troops:
(10) Wyches: haywire grenades, Bloodbride, 1x razorflail. 140pts
Raider: Nightshields. 70pts.

(10) Wyches: haywire grenades, Bloodbride, 1x razorflail. 140pts
Raider: Nightshields. 70pts

(5) Wyches: 50pts.
Venom:55pts

Heavy Support:

Ravager: Nightshields. 115pts.

Puts me right at 998pts. Once again i am a first time DE player so any kind of feedback will be greatly  appreciated.

Anyways, your army seems good, but really? You want to bring wyches as anti vehicle and anti infantry? Make up your mind!!!! and, without turn 1 flickerfields, that list would be destroyed because, if you don't go first and you don't have much cover, that list will get torn apart. I mean, 6+ Armour saves doesn't do much against bolters

Neither does a 5+ armour save!
As to the list your taking full advantage of the dukes combat drugs ability with all those wyches and having trueborn to take advantage of the 3+ poison, plus the gunboat, though don't forget splinter cannons don't get the reroll . Only problem is getting those wyches to cc with overwatch but once they start racking, or start with, pain tokens they'll become better

I kno the list seems a little fragile for turn 1 shooting but i was thinking that whatever raiders i cant set up behind cover ill deep strike (another Duke Sliscus special rule as u probably already kno), but that is also risky as i dont have anything that can modify a bad deep strike roll. I was also thinking of taking the razorflails out and giving the wych raiders FF. Just some food for thought and once again, comments are appreciated.

Razorflails seem meh to me personally.

I've shifted away from FF use, what with jink and all. If you can't start behind cover or out of range (yay night shields), then why did you put that Raider in plain sight of a lascannon??? As you said, the Duke gives you even more reserves options, so mitigating this shouldn't be a problem.

When you say Bloodbrides on those Wych units, are you meaning a Hekatrix? ie, Sgt upgrade character. If so, she needs a bit of kit, I think. I love a Venom Blade - cheap, and surprisingly effective, especially in challenges against single-wound models (even power armor). You'll be piling on wounds at I6, which is awesome. 2+ saves will give you pause, but wyches don't have access to ap2 outside of a power ax, which negates our beautiful speed... sigh. Anyway.
Phantasm Launchers are, I think, about mandatory anymore on wyches. Keep in mind that Def grenades give you stealth within 8" of a shooting enemy, which means about any charge you should be pulling off will get a bonus to your cover save. It seems weird to *want* to charge through cover, but with fleet it's not really a terrible concept, and it gives you that standard 4+ that we're used to.

Personally I'm not a fan of the huge trueborn squad to go with the duke - yes, the wound-on-3+ cannons are nice, but I personally can't justify the cost on such a fragile unit. The rest of the trueborn aren't doing you any favors over standard warriors (unless you want to jump into combat with them). I honestly really dislike that the Duke has to start with a Kabalite unit. It's like using Warriors as the retinue for an Archon... but anyway.

I would also consider dropping the Haywires off of the large wych squads (use them as anti-infantry) and then upgrade the 5-strong Wyches to have grenades and the 2nd Cannon on their boat. With that and dropping Razorflails, you'd have the points to kit out your Wych leaders.

Wow. Well i am definatley looking at this from a different perspective now. when i say bloodbrides i do mean the sgt upgrade and i definatley think that the v blades are a good idea. 5 points to wound anything with a toughness value on a 2+ is great and their cheaper than the razorflails(which i will be dropping). I picked the trueborn squad for sliscus because you can fit more splinter cannons in the squad and i want to get as many 3+ poisoned shots out of them as i can. i realise that it is a very expensive unit but i think if im smart with them they can really shine, and if they dont i can easily change my list to make them warriors and buy some more upgrades for my units. i like the idea of giving the small squad of wyches haywire grenades but i still want one of the big wych units with haywire grenades because the 5 man squad is so small and more susceptible to getting destroyed quickly, but i will take the grenades off of one of the big squads, and once i get rid of the FF on the raiders and the razorflails that will be 50 points of upgrades for me to spend elsewhere(which will go toward the hekatrixes). awesome advice btw
