1000 point three round all comers list

Just saw the closest GW is doing an all comers, 1k challenge. Three rounds, random opponents, no fliers. Allies must be battle brothers.

how is this for a list- have never run this before, but thought it might be fun and somewhat competitive, though I have not played the new marines yet.

I personally think splinter racks are a trap. They sure inflict pain, but sadly most of it is to Kabalities. That Raider just screams "shoot me, I kill t least 5 warrior when I explode"

Grots really want an Abomination with venom blade to take challenges. And 6 strikes with rerollable 2+ to wound is nice on charge. Where's the ride for Grots?

Didn't have the points for a ride for them, though, I could load them and the Duke on the raider and leave the warriors in cover on an objective.

I can drop SR for the abberation.

The raider could go with either the warriors or the grots, or I could drop a ravager and put a raider with the grots- leaving 45 points, not sure what to do with that. I guess I could add FF to the two raiders and the ravager with 15 points left over.

Perhaps trade warriors ride for Grots. They need mobility more than Warriors as you got two mobile troops. I advice you to keep those girls out of their rides as much as possible as its very likely that many of them die with the explosion that usually destroys a Venom. Start them within 8" of the venom behind cover but still in open to avoid T1 losses.

Archon is way too multitask. Shadow field and husk blade is enough. (maybe drugs?) The Grots can deal most of the things if Archon is incapable due to low strenght.

thought about changing wyches to warriors with a blaster, drop some upgrades on the archon and that frees up enough for a second raider for the grots.

Also thinking about a beast pack list. Haeme or baron, warrior blob, warriors in venoms and ravagers.
