Talos paint with new technicals

I had alot of fun painting this although i have to say the vials are the weakest part of my painting. painting skin is also quite hard.

This looks really sick! I really like the rusty parts, it makes the talos look like it has had some battles, I Love It!

What are your thoughts on the various technicals and how they performed?

ok new technical review

Typhus corruption: probably the technical that ill go through the fastest it has a lot of applications for stuff like dirt and grime, its kinda the 1rst stage paint before you use ryza rust. Warning... dont go overboard with this because its real easy to put on to much very quickly, the effect is really good, like in all things moderation.

Ryza Rust: i was a little wary at first because of how bright the color is. but my doubts were soon put to rest when i applied the paint... also dont listen to the GW video for this paint telling you to drybrush it on unless you want it to look completely rusted, but for me i only wanted a kinda rusted look. USE A STIPPLING BRUSH to get a kinda rusted look.

Blood for the blood god: i need to work with this more but it comes out really nicely, in my opinion its an excellent paint i just need practice with it.

Nurgles Rot: a nice effect for our venom dripping things it dries glossy wich is nice so it will maintain a slightly liquid look.

Oxide and agrellan earth are the only two i didnt use for this model.

Very gross. Too gross for my liking (it's Eldar, after all), but if that's what you've been looking for, it certainly works. He looks like only touching him would give you some horrible disease. If you'd like some oily sheen to certain parts to strenghten to effect, look no further than tamiya smoke. It gives the impression that the mechanical parts are dripping with oil like alien's maw drips with saliva

Ah thank you i might look into that but its not really a mechanical entity... i might ise that for a riptide though
