I'm sorry...what? Who are you to say that? We all have different friends. Like, in DnD, I'm the powergamey friend. If I get asked to tone it down, then so be it. Sometimes, though, people don't want to bring it up, cause it sounds petty. So if they don't want to ask him to stop, that is totally their concern. But seriously, who are you to tell people who their friends are?

GKP, you're right in that we all deal with different friends in different ways. But I still agree with eohall on the premise that a "real" friend wouldn't put other friends in an untenable situation like that; if he was a good friend, he wouldn't need to be asked to tone it down if it was causing trouble for others.

If this was an expansion like FullDE suggests, then it'd be a non-issue.
