| Hey gang, if a vehicle moves at cruising speed, can an embarked model with a heavy weapon (like a Splinter Cannon, for example) still fire?
Haven't noticed anything in my little rulebook restricting heavy weapons from firing after a transport moves at cruising.

| Up to 6 inches the splinter cannon can choose between assault or heavy mode I believe 6-12 inches I think it has to fire heavy and they are snap shots.. I may be wrong though as it is well past midnight and I am tired and not referencing any material | |

| At cruising speed all passengers have to fire snap shots, heavy weapon or otherwise. So a Splinter Cannon can either fire 4 snap shots or 6. I think the answer is obvious. | |

At combat speed you're right. At cruising speed it is snap shots for everyone.

| so, to make sure that i have been doing this right and not cheating my opponents with better BS then i should have had
combat speed(6" move) = BS4 if firing assault, if firing heavy this snapshots
cruising speed(12" move) = snapshots all the time
this is what i have been doing, my true born have loved doing this from a venom so i hope it is right

| You could choose to shoot assault 4 at snapshot, but... why you would I don't know.
So yes the splinter cannon can fire heavy 6 snapshot at cruising speed.
At combat speed you have the option of 4 accurate shots at full BS using assault setting or 6 snapshots at heavy setting.
