Another 1500 point list to tear apart

So my local GW has a 1500 point tournament coming up in about a month and I wanted to make a list that wasn't too competitive but at the same time not too easy and lots of fun to play. I didn't want to go for the typical Darklight Storm or Venom Spam since quite a few people are getting used to it. Just wanted to get opinions on it and see what you think can be improved on.

It comes out to 1500 points exactly. The Archon will be with the Harlequins to give them more shooting. It's meant to be more of a shooting line. The Haemonculus rides with the Wyches to give them FnP and the Wyches are just used as a charge buffer/tarpit unit. I know of at least 2 horde lists that will be there. The Harlequins are there to draw some fire, throw down some 24" and 18" firepower while staying fairly safe, and acting as a charge buffer as well or assist Wyches. Took grisly trophies on the wych raider in case they lose combat or if one of my other units gets assaulted.

Well that's the plan with it and the list. I was also trying to mostly use models I already have. Well, have at it. Tear it apart. give advice, etc.

I've got lots of opinions but am always a little confused by people wanting something "competitive, but not *too* competitive" and then asking for advice on how to improve it. I tend to work to extremes, I'll admit. I'll try to offer just a few thoughts about the specific build and leave it at that;

First thing that leaps out to me is that the Archon is gakking your Harlies up by denying them their flip belts and forcing them to deal with terrain. Seems...unoptimal. If you're going to take Halies why weigh them down with a shooting HQ who can't move like they do? I'd probably drop him altogether.

Extra points could easily be applied to increasing the defense of your vehicles. You've got a couple of very pricey units on the board and are basically saying "lol, 11AV and close topped - invincible am we!!1!" which...well, I'm pretty sure missile launchers can chew through that pretty darn easy, and even Orks with rokkits and Lootas can probably chew you open without even needing the Warboss to scratch his new klaw. Some FFs or NSs to increase survivability would be a vast boon to the list.

I keep trying the Hexrifle - but it really doesn't work very well. I'd advocate the Liquifier pretty strongly.

I think that's my "better but not much better" advice

Thanks Thor. I was arguing with myself about the Archon too. He was just supposed to help with the assaults but without a PW or anything he was just meh. I will definitely be dropping him in favor of NS or FF. Though as to which I'm not sure yet. I've seen the math and read all the discussions. I'll just have to play test it. And the reason why I don't want it to be too competitive is because there are going to be new players there and I don't want them going up against an extreme list. There is no prize for the tournament so no point is cheesing. Just summer escalation at the store. As for the hexrifle vs. the liquifier, I was thinking about that too. I never take hexrifles. I was just going to take it for the range so that the haemonculus was doing more than just giving wyches FnP
