Leather colours

So ive decided on a way to paint the armor that I like, and image is below. Sorry for the terrible quality, all the decent cameras in my house have gone walkabout.



Anyway, as you can (hopefully) see, the armor is a bright blue colour, and im stuck on what colour to paint to leather (I think its leather, the stuff wychsuits are made of) I tried purple but it looks kinda eh.

Whats a good colour to paint the leather? I could just leave it black.

I reckon that tanned flesh colour you've got on the tabard is a good start. The cobalt and red is looking great!

Speaking as a leather worker, leather comes in many colours, including silver.

Silver leather could work... I dont just want to leave it black so Ill give that a shot
