| If your like me, your introduction to tactics and other neat view points started on a wiki-site called 1d4chan. And if your like me, you have an issue with working on your fluff. You got plenty of material but no idea where to jump off the springboard from. Needing a good basic idea to work from, but unable to create the essential skeleton yourself.
Well on that site, specifically if you google Dark Eldar Kabal Generator (under 7 days and I'm a new user can't post external links) you discover someone has taken the time to build a Kabal Fluff Generator. Now some of the other armies have much more impressive generators, and some don't. But thats not the point here.
Point is, I like the basic idea of creating a generator from which people can springboard from. As fluffy as Dark Eldar are, there is seemingly a rough edge to trying to build something with a unique flavor vs the other DE players you generally encounter.
So here is my thought: We take the same basic structure. And try to create a much larger 'generator' then whats presented here, preferably using % Dice. Every step of the way. . .
One way or another, I think I will pursue this idea. I like it enough and even if I'm not that good on settling on fluff there is plenty I can present as potential ideas. Thing is, I rather not just go and do that cause I'm far from anyone with any authority on DE ideas/lore.
You guys, now you guys know what your talking about. Know far more then anyone I've met. So I'd like to get ideas. suggestions for things people could roll on the creation charts on everything from the Kabal personality, to the origins of the Archon/Leader. The more we have, the more it'll make for an interesting and easy source for new-start up DE players to have an interesting and fun way to generate fluff or a place to springboard from on it.
Thoughts? Choices? Categories?

Kabal Age 1-4 (1-2,500 Years Old) 5-8 (2,500 – 5,000 Years Old) 9-10 (Remnants of a Noble House more then 5,000 years old)

| Well the format they used was as follows: (I provided options under the first two that they presented to give an example.)
Kabal Age (D10) (1 - 4) Young (1 - 2,500 years old) (5 - 8 )Old (2,500 - 5,000 years old) (9 - 10) Remnants of a Noble House (more than 5,000 years old)

Although It's Rumble, I've never heard of a randomly generated D&D character, what edition you talking about? The goal would be to create as many potential answers, under a large sum of categories for someone to generate a basic fluff to build from. | |
